This time, we had an interview with Konomi Suzuki, Misaki Hisano, and Yu Serizawa, who just finished recording the 6th episode! Whether you've already listened to the radio show or you're just getting started, this is a must-see!
If you were going to sing karaoke, would you choose ...... as your first song?
───This is your first guest appearance on the show, following on from last time, so what are your impressions?
Konomi Suzuki (Suzuki): I wasn't expecting our first guest so soon, so I was really looking forward to it. We have been working on the show for a month, and we are just getting a feel for how the two of you talk together, so we were really looking forward to having you as our guest.
Misaki Kuno (Kuno): This is only our fifth or sixth show. When the show started, Konomi and I were both nervous, but after the third or fourth show, we started to relax and enjoy talking as usual. So I think the timing was very good.
Yu Serizawa (Serizawa): If Kuno-chan and Konomi-chan were still exploring each other, I was afraid that it would turn out to be "exploratory exploration," but the two of them were completely ready for each other, and there was a fun atmosphere from the moment they entered the scene. I could feel that they were having a good time before the performance, even when they were reading the script together, so I felt that I just had to go along with them and relax.
─ Have you already worked together on the set of "Lost Song"?
Serizawa: We had been together for a long time, but we didn't talk that much on the set because we were sitting in chairs at different places. I think we talked the most today.
Kuno: During the recording of the anime, we had a lot of time from start to finish, so we didn't have much time for private conversations. On the other hand, Konomi and I had many scenes together because we were on an adventure together, so we were recording while discussing things next to each other. So I think we talked the most on the set.
Suzuki: It was the first time for me to try my hand at voice acting, so I was given advice on things I didn't understand.
Kuno: Konomi was new to dubbing, but she asked me questions like, "Should I do it this way? She asked me questions like, "Should I do it this way?" and she made a lot of efforts while being conscious of her intonation. I am very happy to be able to work with her as a radio personality.
───Can you tell us what you liked or found interesting about the content of this radio show?
Serizawa: "Monika's mission to overcome shyness! (How to run away when you get caught by a catch-salesman in the street.) Konomi and Kuno-chan were really funny when they "play the funny old man together.
Kuno: I really get into trouble a lot when I get caught by catch-salesmen on the street (laughs). (laughs) But if it was someone who was really having trouble finding their way around, I would want to respond properly. ...... If I were alone, it would take a lot of courage to play the role of "strange uncle. I would like to do it when I am with Konomi.
Suzuki If I did it alone, I would have to go to ...... (laughs).
Kuno: That person would look suspicious (laughs).
──We had a lot of fun talking about karaoke. If the three of us were to go karaoke together, what would you choose as your first song?
Kuno: Konomi's song.
Serizawa I thought the same thing.
Kuno I might like to play the PV and see Konomi singing while being shy (laughs).
Suzuki That would be hell (laughs). If you say that, I'll join i☆Ris, too. I'll have psylliums ready.
Serizawa I'm the type of person who gets carried away!
Kuno: Then let's get Yuu-chan excited.
Serizawa I'll get the audience excited for the first round, and then I'll have Konomi sing!
─ ─ Also, you all listed nostalgic songs in your repertoire even though you are so young.
Kuno: I am attracted to things from the past. Not only songs but also movies. Of course, there are things that are popular now that I like, but I think that things that have been liked and cherished for a long time have a certain charm when I watch or listen to them now. You also like nostalgic melodies, don't you, Konomi?
Suzuki: I like nostalgic melodies. I think my mother's influence is very strong. I have been singing songs since I was a child, and my mother would choose songs for me to sing in public, like Ikue Sakakibara's "Natsu no Ossama" when I was in the first grade of elementary school.
───Mr. Serizawa, I heard that you started listening to Chisato Moritaka's songs through Ms. Suzuki.
Serizawa: When we had a live concert together, Konomi sang "Even if I become an old lady" by Chisato Moritaka. I thought it was a very nice song, so I looked it up and found out it was by Moritaka. I bought the song and listened to it, and I fell in love with Moritaka, and I listened to him all last summer. I really like his album "Non-Eiryoku-ha Sengen" (Non-Eiryoku-ha Manifesto).
Suzuki The lyrics are also very good.
Serizawa Recently, I've been thinking of writing lyrics myself, but I feel that only Moritaka's lyrics could be written by him. I especially enjoyed listening to "Non-Eiryoku-ha Sengen" while studying it.
