The first stage of 2018 for Pyuapyuna! The Idolmaster Million Live! MTG03 & MS05 launch event report!

The smartphone game app "THE iDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! Theater Days" (hereafter referred to as "Mirishita") is also being distributed by "THE iDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! The Idolmaster Million Live! The CD series "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION THE@TER GENERATION 03 ANGEL STARS" (hereafter, MTG03) and "M@STER SPARKLE 05" (hereafter, MS05) were released on January 27, 2018 (Saturday).

The six performers were Machico (playing Tsubasa Ibuki), Yusa Kari (playing Kaori Sakuramori), and Emi Hirayama (playing Reika Kitagami) from "MTG03" and Eri Inagawa (playing Tamaki Ohgami), Yu Ikuhara (playing Emily Stuart), and Chouya Kiriya (playing Miya Miyao) from "MS045. The following is a report on the event, which was filled with talk about the songs, a variety corner that tested their ad-lib skills, and a live performance.

Full of secret stories about the recording of each song!

The 2018 "Million Live! As it was the first event of the year, the opening greeting was "Happy New Year, producers! WASANBON!" and "Wasanbon!" to celebrate the New Year. In such an atmosphere unique to Million, Machico and Ikuhara led a talk session about their songs.

Angelic Parade♪" was Kari's (Utahori) first unit song, and she recalled how fun it was to record the song while thinking about which part each of the five members would play. Ms. Hirayama, who was in the latter half of the recording order, heard Kari's song as a tentative song. Machico and Hirayama had worked together before, but this was surprisingly the first time they had sung together on stage.

The title of Tamaki's "Tankenboken☆Haiho-tai" was "Not Matsuri-hime (Princess Matsuri-hime, who is fond of saying "Hi-ho! is the title of the song, "I'm not Princess Matsuri-hime (who is fond of saying "Hi-ho!")," Inagawa said with a laugh. She revealed that she was surprised at the volume of the lyrics, which were written on two A4 sheets of paper, and that she ad-libbed the calls and laughter in the song. She also said that she had thought of original choreography and danced to it during the recording, and as a matter of course, people asked for it, and she performed some of it for them.

The relaxed atmosphere of Miya, played by Kiritani, is also a major attraction. However, he said that the tempo of his previous solo songs was quite fast when he sang them, and he was happy to have a more relaxed song with "Fuwarizumu" this time. The lyrics also include elements of cards and episodes that have appeared in the past, giving the song a sense of culmination.

When Ikuhara-san heard Emily's "Hanasurabe" for the first time, he cried the moment the prelude, which also has an impressive Japanese tone, came on. He recalls that during the recording of the song, he was conscious of how to express what he wanted to convey. She also commented that the choreography was so delicate and beautiful that she had to be more careful than ever.

Angel Stars

A beautiful one-liner led to a skit involving those around them!

Next up was "THE iDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE." in which the audience ad-libbed the idols' lines according to situations (where, what, who) drawn from a box! Out of Theater Days" corner.

In the first event, Kari was asked to speak about "Kaori Sakuramori in Taiwan, half asleep," and she said to the producer in fluent Taiwanese, "I'm very happy to meet you, I love you. I love you" in fluent Taiwanese. She surprised the other members with her perfection.

Ikuhara-san followed with "Laughing hysterically at the Olympic venue, Emily", comparing the size of the Olympic venue to the producer's broad-mindedness, while Kiritani-san sang "Humming along at the magic school, Miya Miyao", casting a spell on the audience while humming a cute tune.

There was also Reika making rice cakes with Miya even though the classroom was supposed to be empty, Tsubasa imitating a dog in honor of the Year of the Dog, and Tamaki playing "I ran out of long notes~" and playing "milishita" in her dream. They entertained us with interesting situations and content related to the people in the room.

Yu Ikuhara

In the second round, the contest often turned into a skit involving other contestants. In the "Emily on a spaceship investigating a murder case," Emily found a fallen trapper (producer) and said, "If only there was a great detective (......)," and got Reika and Tamaki involved in the situation. The story unfolds to involve Reika and Tamaki. Each of them also paid homage to idol-like words and famous lines.

Ms. Hirayama's theme was "Reika Kitagami working part-time at the top of the Tokyo Tower" and she said "Wai-wai-wai! and send a happy signal from the top of the tower. It is an outrageous situation, but it is strange that it seems possible for Reika Kitagami (......) to be in such a situation.

In contrast, in "Tsubasa Ibuki while cleaning up at a fancy restaurant," Machico nicely thanks the producer. I don't always go for the story! Machico said with a smug look on his face.

This time, there were a lot of divine pulls, such as "Miya Miyao playing Go in a giant maze" and "Kaori Sakuramori playing the piano at her best friend's wedding," which suited the idol's characteristics. At the wedding where Utaori played the piano, Tamaki and Miya appeared as the bride and groom, playing the roles of best friends, and rather than Tamaki ......, Inagawa-san's mouth leaked out a desire for her to be his personal wife.

The subject for Ms. Inagawa was "Tamaki Oogami in Hawaii while making tea. The combination of Tamaki and tea seemed unimaginable, but Ms. Inagawa, who was once a member of a tea ceremony club, put her experience to good use and demonstrated her skill in "air tea ceremony".

Eri Inagawa

The stage was full of idol-like fun and elegance!

The second half of the event was the live part. Ms. Inagawa, the top batter, performed "Tankenboken☆Haiho-tai" cheerfully. This speedy song was full of call and response, and the audience was united and enjoyed the song together. The choreography included bear poses and heroic poses to match the lyrics, and the way they frolic on stage is just like Ring.

Next, Kiritani sang "Fuwarizumu" in a relaxed manner, her soothing voice warmly enveloping the audience. The choreography not only brought out Miya's fluffy atmosphere, but also her graceful posing was beautiful. In the last part of the performance, everyone sang "la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la" together, and Ms. Kiriya looked happy.

Ms. Butterfly Kiritani

Ikuhara-san's beautiful voice sounded beautiful in "Hanasirabe. The choreography she mentioned included movements reminiscent of Japanese dance and a gesture like holding the sleeves of a kimono, bringing to mind Emily in kimono. The audience could see the smiles on the producers' faces as they listened to her singing with intonation.

The three Angel Stars (Machico, Hirayama, and Kari) performed "Angelic Parade♪" to a lively melody, their full smiles and harmonies, their bouncy steps, the phrase "pyu-a-pyu-a," and their movements like angels flapping their wings were especially impressive. The song ended with a flapping of wings.

All the members gathered on stage again to talk about their impressions of the event and their ambitions for the future. The other members even teased Kari, reminding the audience that the two who joined the group from "Millishita" have become a part of the group.

The call and response to the song "Pyuapyua! to the song, and then the whole group performed "Brand New Theater! The event ended with a fresh combination of Kari and Ikuhara's harmonies, giving the audience a sense of further possibilities and fun.
