The happiest event with Hiroko Kasahara! Report on "Hiroko Kasahara Christmas Live Opening Party - Memories of Roses

On Sunday, December 24, 2017, Christmas Eve, when all of Japan was in a happy mood, a Christmas live performance was held by voice actress Hiroko Kasahara.

The venue was SHIBUYA TAKE OFF 7, a well-known live house for Ms. Kasahara's fans, where this year, like last year, her Christmas live was held. This year, there were two performances, one in the daytime and one in the evening. This time, we will report on the "Hiroko Kasahara Christmas Live Opening Party - Memories of Roses" held in the afternoon.

A Chinese dress for Christmas? Such is the opening of the party.

Until now, Ms. Kasahara's live performance at this venue has been an all-standing event. This time, however, she wanted the audience to enjoy the show in a relaxed atmosphere, so she decided to have the audience seated.

As the full house of fans waited for the show to start, Ms. Kasahara appeared on stage in a Chinese dress, surrounded by the soft sounds of acoustic guitar and keyboard. She sang the opening number "Memories of Roses" softly. The venue was immediately enveloped in a romantic mood.

As the floor was suddenly tinted with Christmas colors, Ms. Kasahara started to read a short story. The story was a heartwarming depiction of everyday life, and combined with Kasahara's clear voice, it touched the audience's hearts. In just a few minutes after the opening of the show, Ms. Kasahara had firmly captured the audience's hearts. However, just as we thought the event was going to proceed in such a quiet mood, Ms. Yoshimi Omiyama, a junior staff member of Ms. Kasahara's office, appeared on stage in a Chinese dress as well.

Kasahara declared the opening of the event! From here, the party started with "anything goes" and a lot of fun.

What was the Christmas party like with the gorgeous guests? How was the Christmas party with the guests?

The topic of conversation turned to "Winter's Tale," a unit that Mr. Kasahara is currently interested in, and that had come to the party.

Wondering what kind of unit it was, I went to ...... and saw Mr. Kasahara and Ms. Komiyama, who had once gone offstage, reappear on stage with their co-star, Ms. Mari Sasaki. These three "Hiroko, Comey, and Mari" were said to be "Winter's Tale," and from this point on, an etude (improvisation) was performed by the three of them.

The theme of this year's performance was based on the themes drawn by lottery or received from the audience, and the etude started with the slightly unimaginative themes of "Shibuya," "Christmas," and "the first year of the Heisei Era. The etude, which began with the setting of three mysterious sisters living in Yoyogi Park in Chinese-style clothing, ended when the time ran out without finding the right place to drop the subject.

The subjects for the other etude were "chocolate," "roller coaster," and "high school students. The audience applauded the spirit of the three actors as they connected the story with 100% ad-lib to the out-of-the-ordinary subjects they had been given each time.

Following the heart-pounding etude, Hiroko and Comey performed an acoustic arrangement of Elephant Kashimashi's cover of "Like the Moon Tonight" by Elephant Kashimashi.

This song was a request from Hiroko, and she seemed to have a lot of feelings about it. The original song is full of masculinity, and Hiroko gave a powerful performance that could not be heard on her usual stage.

After the free talk, Hiroko and Mari continued with "Departures," a cover of Globe by Mari and Hiroko. The original song featured a female vocalist, a male chorus, and rap, so Junichi Saito of the backing band "Ishitels☆Special," who also plays keyboard, joined in on the chorus and rapped.

This song is also one of Hiroko's favorites. The song was also Hiroko's favorite song, with a wintery acoustic arrangement and a dramatic voice.

At the end of the concert, Hiroko thanked the members who performed with her, saying, "I am glad that I was able to do what I wanted to do with my precious friends," and sang "Himawari" with passion. Her warm voice, which blew away the winter cold, enveloped the audience.

This was the end of the "Winter's Tale" stage. At the same time, "Fuyomonogatari" regrettably disbanded.

Next, another set of guests appeared on stage. This was "Ohanashika," an imaginary theater company produced by Mr. Kasahara. The group was "Gekidan Hontachi," a fictional theater company produced by Mr. Kasahara's junior members. The troupe members, made up of Mr. Kasahara's junior members, appeared on stage and introduced themselves in turn.

As he watched them each show off their unique personalities, Kasahara noted the success of his juniors, saying, "I don't think I could have spoken as well as I did when I was their age.

At the end of the event, the audience sang the Christmas song "Christmas Song to You" with the troupe members! As the stage rose, the audience joined in with the peaceful chorus and clapping, greatly enlivening the finale of the party.

From start to finish, the atmosphere of this event was like a private party with friends who are at ease with each other. It was impressive to see the happy smiles on the faces of all the performers as well as the audience.
