The music video of the theme song "The Moon" sung by Sakura Fujiwara from the anime movie "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion II: Hando" which will be released on February 10 (Sat) has been released.

On "The Moon
I knew from the editing stage that the ending song for "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion II: Rebellion" was going to be a difficult one. On top of that, it was necessary for us to understand and be close to the hearts of the characters.

The person in charge was preferably someone who had not been involved with GEASS before. This was because I wanted him to add a new element to the work. And if we were being selfish, we wanted someone from a generation close to the characters.

So, Sakura Fujiwara was chosen.

Any worries I had about how it would turn out were dispelled by the demo presented early on. No, it was wonderful. I had not expected that the images and the song would fit so well together as I had envisioned. Anyone who hears it will understand. I hope you will be intoxicated by the motherhood and potential that lies behind the singing voice. We were able to welcome a rare talent to "Code Geass. I am proud of this.

I was just so excited to create the theme song for "Code Geass," a masterpiece known to all anime lovers.
As I immersed myself in the work, I strongly felt, "What is true justice?" Who is right and who is wrong? These are questions that cannot be easily answered.
I wanted to protect the people I love, but when our respective justices clash, we end up hurting each other. I put the sadness, conflict, and above all, the love that exists in that situation into the song.
