Musical "Katakana: Knot Hibiki, Hajimari no Oto" (Musical "Katakana: The Sound of Knot, The Sound of Beginnings"), main visual released!

The latest main visual for the musical series "Sword Dance," the first media mix based on the popular game "Sword Dance-ONLINE-" (DMM Games/Nitroplus), which has been running since 2015, has been released in March 2018. The main visual for the newest production, which opens in March 2018, has been unveiled.

Based on the popular PC browser and smartphone app game "Touken Ranbu-ONLINE-" (DMM Games/Nitroplus), in which famous swords take on the form of warriors, "Touken Ranbu" players collect, train, and strengthen "Touken Danshi" to defeat enemies who plan to alter history. The musical "Toukendanbu" started in 2015 as the first media mix.

The new performance, the fifth in the series, will open in March 2018, and the main visual was revealed today.
Against a background of vivid colors that attract the eye, the swordsmen stand in a row of imposing figures, raising their spirits for the new battles that are about to begin.

This year's lineup includes Yamatomori Yasusada, Izumimori Kanetada, Horikawa Kunihiro, Nagasone Toratetsu, Mutsukumori Yoshiyuki, and Tomoegata Naginato, all of whom fought together in "Bakumatsu Tenrouden". In the story subtitled "Knot Echo, Hajimari no Oto (Sound of Conclusion, Sound of Beginning)," expectations are high as to which era and battlefield the swordsmen will go to!
