Lupin the Third Part 5" to begin airing in April 2018, with the ED theme performed by Miyuki Sawashiro as Fujiko Mine! Annual Lupin concert will also be held!

It has been announced that voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro, who plays Fujiko Mine, will be in charge of the ED theme for the TV anime "Lupin the Third Part 5," which will start airing in April 2018.

Lupin the Third Part 5" is the latest in the popular anime series based on the manga by Monkey Punch. Set in France, where Lupin III and the world's greatest thief, Arsene Lupin, have their roots, the film depicts the activities of Lupin and his friends who make full use of the latest technology in today's digital society.

The series will be composed and written by Ichirou Okochi of "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion" and "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle," directed by Yuichiro Yano, as in the previous film, and character design by Hisao Yokobori. Animation production will be handled by Telecom Animation Film.

Yuji Ohno, who is in charge of music for the film, has announced that he will release two original soundtracks for "Lupin III Part 5" simultaneously on May 9, 2018 (Wednesday) under the name of Yuji Ohno & Lupintic Six!　In addition, it was announced that the ED theme to be included in the new soundtracks will be performed by Miyuki Sawashiro, who plays Fujiko Mine.

For the production of the new series, Ms. Ohno recorded approximately 180 songs based on her image.

The album "LUPIN THE THIRD PART V - SI BON ! SI BON ! includes the 2018 version of "Lupin III Theme" (LUPIN TROIS 2018 <Lupin Trois 2018>), which evolves into the latest arrangement after the 40th anniversary of the birth, the ED theme "Seine no Kaze ni...(Adieu)" sung by guest vocalist Miyuki Sawashiro, and other vocal songs. (Adieu), the ED theme sung by guest vocalist Miyuki Sawashiro, and 15 other gorgeous gems, including other vocal tracks. This is the first time for Ms. Sawashiro to sing under the name of Miyuki Sawashiro, and she participated in the recording of three songs on this album.

On the other hand, "THE OTHER SIDE OF LUPIN THE THIRD PART V - FRENCH," an album mainly composed of instrumental songs, contains a total of 43 songs carefully selected from a vast amount of music on two CDs. Both are said to be a must-have for fans with the royal Lupin sound, bringing together some of Japan's most talented musicians. I'm exhausted. I wrote another 180 songs.
The setting is France, so I made a lot of fashionable background music.
And please listen to Sawashiro-san's song, which is like a little animal and also Fujiko.
I was only going to do one song for the ending, but it was so cool that I ended up having her sing three songs in total.

After Sayuri Ishikawa, I was looking forward to see who would sing this time.
Then one day, I was just surprised when I was suddenly chosen to sing!
At first I was told that I would sing one ED song, but by the day of the event, it had turned into three songs.

It was like a dream come true.
