New commercial "Takayuki Yamada, I'm Already Dead Pt. 1" and special web video for "Hokuto Ga Gotoku" for PS4®!

Hokuto Ga Gotoku" for PlayStation®4 will be released on March 8, 2018 (Thursday) by Sega Games. Ahead of the software's release, a special web video of the new TV commercial "Yamada Takayuki, I'm Already Dead Pt. 1" (airing sequentially nationwide from March 3 (Sat.)) featuring actor Yamada Takayuki was released on the official PlayStation® YouTube channel.

Mr. Yamada, who is well-known for his PS4® commercials, passionately plays the role of a man who is so addicted to "Hokuto Ga Gotoku" that he seeks a life with Hokuto Shinken in real life.

At a gym, Mr. Yamada is so hooked on "Hokuto Shinken" that he decides to do the Hokuto Hyakusaiken on a sandbag, causing everyone around him to stop. When he looked at the nameplate of the female trainer who approached him, he saw the words "Ai Tomori" (友利愛). Yamada misread it as "Yuria," Kenshiro's fiancée, and with a yell, transformed into a muscular figure.

After confessing his love to Ms. Tomori, but getting slapped mercilessly, Mr. Yamada mumbled a line from "Fist of the North Star" with a sad expression on his face. Q. How do you feel now that you have finished filming?
A. My voice is still very difficult. I had to use my best to keep my voice low, heavy, and backwards. I tried to reproduce Kenshiro's voice as I had heard it in my memory. I hope that my facial expressions, mood, and the speed at which I move are also like Kenshiro's.

Q. How was your first experience playing "Hokuto Ga Gotoku"?
A. It's fun. There is a large area to play and many side missions, so I think you can play through the game without getting bored. Kenshiro is overwhelmingly strong in the battles, and it feels great. Personally, I am the type of person who wants to do more and more side missions, so I think you will definitely get hooked.

Q. What is your impression of the original "Fist of the North Star"?
A. I have all the volumes of "Fist of the North Star" at home. Rei is my all-time favorite character. In "Fist of the North Star," I think the "fin de siècle" feeling is especially well reproduced.

Q. Is there anything in "Fist of the North Star" that you think would be interesting to see in the real world?
A. Secret pokes and the inner workings of the game. When I was a child, people would definitely imitate them.
