The latest stage production of "Sword Dance", cast of twelve swordsmiths and performance information is released!

The cast and performance information for the latest stage production of "Katana Ranbu," which was announced at the last Chishu performance of the previous "Joden: Three Star Swords Story," has finally been released.

Since its service launch on January 14, 2015,"Touken Ranbu"hasexploded in popularity, especially among women, with its unique and attractive male characters and relationships based on historical facts. The game has gained popularity and has also been adapted into a stage/musical.

In October 2016, the TV anime "Toukendanbu: Hanamaru" aired. The staff includes director Takashi Naoya, character design by Junichiro Taniguchi, series composition and script by Pierre Sugiura, and production by Animation Studio.In December 2017, "The Movie Compilation "Touken Ranbu - Hanamaru-": A Memoir of the Interlude" was released in 21 theaters nationwide for two weeks only. And from January 2018, the long-awaited second season of "Touken Ranbu - Hanamaru-" "Sequel to 'Touken Ranbu - Hanamaru-'" has been on air.

The latest cast and performance information for the latest stage version of "Touken Ranbu" has finally been released.
The first performance of the "Sword Dance" stage version, "Kyoden: Kennuru Honnouji," will be staged in Tokyo and Osaka in May 2016. The Blu-ray containing the performance ranked No. 1 overall on the Oricon Weekly Chart dated September 19, 2016, and a repeat performance at the end of the year was also very well received. The June-July 2017 performance of "Giden: Dokuganryu of Dawn" also drew more audiences, and both the Blu-ray and DVD reached No. 1 overall on the Oricon Weekly Chart as of October 30, 2017. In November, a one-night-only outdoor performance, "Gaiden: This Night in Odawara," was staged to commemorate the one millionth visitor to Shin-Odawara Castle, and in December, "Joden: Three Star Sword Story" was staged in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka.

Now, the 12 swordsmiths have been announced, as well as other details about the performances.

In addition to Suzuki Hiroki as Mikazuki Munechika, Aramaki Yoshihiko as Yamambagiri Kunihiro, Mitsutani Ryo as Konegui Fujishiro, Wada Masanari as Heshikiri Hasebe, Kento as Tsurumaru Kuninaga, and new swordsmiths Kawakami Masahiro as Ohannya Nagamitsu, Maeyama Takehisa as Uguisimaru, Kato Masaru as Ohanphei, and Tamaki Yuki as Ko Masahiro Kawakami as Nagamitsu Ohanawa, Takehisa Maeyama as Uguisimaru, Masaru Kato as Oobakuhei, and Yuki Tamaki as Karasumaru. Details of the story will be announced in the future.
