The broadcast stations and some of the broadcast times for "Captain Tsubasa," a TV anime that will begin airing in April 2018, have been determined.

Captain Tsubasa" is a soccer comic by Yoichi Takahashi that began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) in 1981. It depicts a young soccer boy, Tsubasa Ozora, who believes that "the ball is your friend," and how he grows up through games against his teammates and rivals, triggering a huge soccer boom in Japan when soccer was still at a low ebb in popularity. The popularity of the series has spread outside of Japan, and it is a very popular work loved by soccer boys all over the world.

To date, three TV series, five theatrical productions, and one OVA have been produced.

The broadcast stations and some of the broadcast times for the latest work have now been determined.
It will be broadcast on a total of seven stations: TV Tokyo, BS Japan, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting.
In addition, TV Tokyo and BS Japan have also announced their broadcasting times.

TV Tokyo Broadcasting will begin on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 1:35 a.m. every Monday night.
BS Japan: Monday, April 9, 2018, Midnight 0:30~ Broadcasting will start on Monday, April 9, 2018.
