TV anime "ISLAND" reveals main staff information! The OP theme is by Yukari Tamura and the ED theme is by Asakibana.

The main staff and ED theme information of the TV anime "ISLAND" scheduled to air in 2018 has been released.

The game "ISLAND" is based on the popular PC game brand "Frontwing", the creators of the "Grisaia" series, and is set on the remote island of Urashima. In March 2016, a TV anime adaptation was announced prior to the release of the original game, and the clever scenario with numerous foreshadowing elements attracted a great deal of attention.

In December 2017, it was announced that the TV anime would be broadcast in 2018, and that the animation production would be handled by the anime production studio "feel. D.C. II - Da Capo II" and other highly acclaimed works.

The main staff for this work has now been revealed!　The director is Keiichiro Kawaguchi of "Frame Arms Girl," the series composition is by Toshihisa Arakawa of "This Art Department Has Problems! and Kosuke Kawamura of "Frame Arms Girl" and "The 35th Test Platoon of the Magic Academy" will be in charge of character design.

I am Kawaguchi, the director of the TV animation "ISLAND", and I would like to thank everyone who has been looking forward to its broadcast!
It's been several years since the announcement of the anime adaptation... I've been working on it for a long time! （I've been working on it for a long time!)
It was a difficult task to summarize the huge amount of text from the original game into a single season... but it was worth the time, and I think that both those who have already played the game and those who are starting from the anime will be satisfied with the result!
This is the first time for me to direct an animation based on a visual novel, but I am doing my best to make "ISLAND" a masterpiece!　Please look forward to it!

The original work is quite voluminous, and I was at a loss how to make it into a one-cour show.　I was at a loss, but Mr. Oh gave me a bold idea to reorganize the original work, and I think we were able to reach the ideal form by repeatedly playing catch-up with each other.

When I was asked to design the characters for this work, I played the original game and was prepared to take on the challenge of creating a story that was more epic than I had imagined.
Of course, I drew the characters with an awareness of the cuteness of the girls, but I also hope to portray the characters as human beings with a mixture of various emotions.
