Kanda Shokudo has been serving the stomachs of Akiba workers for 59 years, since the days when the Kanda fruit and vegetable market (a.k.a. Yaccha-ba) was located where Akihabara UDX is located.

The restaurant has been in business for 59 years. The restaurant is always packed with customers, who can enjoy a large and tasty set meal for 600 to 850 yen, which includes a bowl of rice, side dishes, and miso soup. It is a famous "Akiba's kitchen" that enjoys great support from a wide range of customers, from store clerks working in Akihabara to tourists.
