Dengeki 25th Anniversary! Report on the "Dengeki 25th Anniversary Game Dengeki Thanksgiving Festival 2018 featuring Dengeki Bunko" featuring a large collection of the hottest games!

On Saturday, March 10, 2018, the "Dengeki 25th Anniversary Game Dengeki Thanks Festival 2018 featuring Dengeki Bunko" was held at Bellesalle Akihabara in Tokyo.


The event featured test-playing of the latest games, a live broadcast by a star-studded cast, media mix announcements, and more. 40,168 people attended the event, and 1,228,346 people (total number of visitors from Nico Nico Live, YouTube Live, Periscope, and FRESH! The event was a great success.

At the event, a project related to Dengeki Bunko was held. Many Dengekibunko fans lined up to receive original goods when they brought in their own items.



Square Enix held a display of autographs from the cast of the smartphone game "Star Ocean: Anamnesis," as well as autograph sessions with character designer Akira Yasuda and Satoshi Wagahara, who writes the novel version of the game.

Other exhibits included a movie of the latest fantasy x idol game "IDOL FANTASY," which drew many visitors to stop by.


At the SEGA Games booth, there were many test stands for "Toaru Majutsu no Dennou Senki (Virturron)," which is the result of a miraculous collaboration between Dengeki Bunko and SEGA. A long line formed immediately after the doors opened, indicating the high level of interest in this title.


Namco Bandai Entertainment displayed "Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet" and "CODE VEIN. Visitors who tried out the games were also handed gifts.

Sora and Umi no Aida," which has been developed into a variety of media including games, comics, novels, and anime, was also exhibited. Visitors were treated to a variety of items, including pop-up displays signed by the cast, a fishing game, and a limited-edition pamphlet!


The Namco Chara Pop Store will feature a collaboration store selling new and old Dengeki works. Many visitors rushed to the store to buy original goods.


At the booth for the smartphone RPG "23/7 Twenty Three Seven," visitors were able to play the game before its release and were given original goods by those who passed the character voice audition.


At the PlayStation booth, visitors were able to test-play the popular titles. Players were given raffle tickets to win original goods for each title.


The popular "Azur Lane" also made an appearance! Visitors were able to take commemorative photos with life-size character panels.


There was also a full display of original Dengeki content. A collaboration between the popular teacher Bukubu Okawa and "Ansamburu Stars! and original figures were also on display.


In addition, the "Dengeki Bunko 25th Anniversary & New Work Announcement Stage" was held on the first basement floor of Bellesalle Akihabara. We will report on that event in a future issue of our newsletter, so please look forward to it!
