Official report of the release event to commemorate the release of the OP/ED of the TV animation "Mr. Takagi, the Master of Teasing".

A joint event to commemorate the release of the OP/ED of the TV anime "Mr. Takagi, the Karakagee" was held on March 10. Riyo Takahashi, who plays the role of Mr. Takagi, and singer-songwriter Yui Ohara, who created the OP theme song, took the stage at the live house Shinjuku SAMURAI. The all-standard event was enlivened by a mini live performance of the theme song, as well as talks related to the work and a confrontation corner.

The daytime event started with a cross talk between the two. Takahashi-san appeared in a cute outfit accented with horizontal stripes. The outfit was inspired by the outfit worn by Takagi-san in the summer vacation episode of episode 6, and her hair style, which showed a little forehead, was also inspired by Takagi-san's. Ms. Ohara wore a crisp white one-piece dress, expressing the world of the work with her whole body.

Since the event was held at a live house, the audience did not use penlights, which is unusual for an anime event. In an environment slightly different from his usual stage environment, Takahashi-san asked for advice, "Please teach me how to behave in a live house! Please tell me how to behave in a live music club! Ohara-san laughed and said, "I don't know either. ......," and told the audience to enjoy riding along to the rhythm of the songs.

First, Ms. Ohara sang the OP theme song "I won't tell you. the OP theme. The second song was "Jyusei Butt," a coupling song on the artist's disc. Mr. Ohara smiled, "This song has hand claps in it, as if I am teasing you all. The audience also clapped their hands to support her singing.

The third song was "Tabidachi no Kaze (Wind of Departure)," a coupling song for the anime version. The live house was filled with applause as she sang this graduation-inspired song in a sad voice. Takahashi-san, who was offstage listening to the singing, could not hide her excitement: "I clapped my hands too! she said, unable to hide her excitement.

The next corner was "Talk about your junior high school memories! This corner is a talk about a box of goodies. In this corner, the two students were asked to delve deeper into their junior high school lives by drawing questions from a box of questions. When asked about his memories of the school festival, Takahashi-san confessed his surprising past as the conductor of the class chorus festival. He was awarded the conductor's prize when he led the chorus with dynamic gestures, and he recalls, "That experience made me realize the joy of expression.

In response to the question, "What section were you in? Ohara shared an episode from his orchestral music club. The club was very strict, and sometimes the conductor's baton would fly from the teacher. However, on graduation day, the teacher, who was always strict, sent off the graduates with an a cappella performance, which brought tears to her eyes, she said nostalgically.

The second corner, "Huefuki Ute Takagi-san," was a mini-game in which the winner was the one who could play the theme song the best with the recorder. The two, who had not played the recorder since junior high school, were in full serious mode. They drank some water to clear their throats before the performance. The theme song was "Twinkle, Twinkle, Twinkle Stars. Mr. Ohara, who was the first to attack, took on the challenge under the spotlight and with all eyes on him. At first she did well, but at the last minute she fell out of tune and the audience burst into laughter. ......

In contrast, Mr. Takahashi, who came in second, performed a beautiful melody. The next song, "Tulip," was also won by Ms. Takahashi, and she won all the applause from the fans. Ohara-san joked, "Can I quit as a musician? and vowed to take revenge. The winner, Mr. Takahashi, was presented with a "high-end eraser" named after the first episode. The cover of the eraser shined in gold, and the audience was surprised at the gorgeous quality of the eraser.

The second half of the event moved on to the ED theme performed by Mr. Takahashi. This was the first time for Mr. Takahashi to sing the ED theme live as Mr. Takagi. The first song was the ED theme from episode 9, "Little Love Song," an acoustic version of a popular love song from the early 2000s. She commented that she imagined the scene where Takagi-san went to karaoke with his classmates and sang the song only for Nishikata-kun, as the lyrics "Only for you" were written. The live house was filled with a sweet and sour atmosphere.

The last song was "Whimsical Romantic," the ED theme for episodes 1 and 2. Takahashi-san sang the classic love song while teasing the audience in the manner of Takagi-san, saying, "Everyone already looks like they want to hear it. At the end of the song, everyone jumped in time to the chorus of "Se-no! at the end of the song, everyone jumped up and down to the beat, creating a special sense of unity.

After the finale, Ohara said, "It was fun to spend time together with you. Thank you! and Takahashi said, "It was a lot of fun to sing in front of you as Mr. Takagi! I had so much fun singing in front of you as Mr. Takagi! The live house was packed to capacity for the evening session that followed. Everyone in the audience enjoyed the friendly event as if they were Takagi's classmates.

On March 28, "Karakajuite no Takagi-san" Cover Song Collection, which includes the ED theme, will be released, and on June 3, Ohara-san's acoustic live "Kono Tsuki ga Machiru Hi" will be held. This will also be a remarkable event.
