Animated short film "Anna and the Snow Queen: Memories of Family" unveils scenes of Sayaka Kanda and Takako Matsu singing the Japanese version of their new song "Just Be with You".
The Japanese version of "Anna and the Snow Queen: A Family Memoir," a song Anna and Elsa sing together as sisters about their family ties, has been released for the first time in Japan. The song is a song about the family bond between sisters Anna and Elsa.
In "Anna and the Snow Queen: A Family Memoir," Anna and Elsa welcome Christmas together for the first time since the gates of the castle were reopened after being closed for a long time. The sisters invite the people of Arendelle to their party, but they leave early to spend their own family's Christmas. Anna and Elsa realize that they don't know their own "family tradition" of celebrating Christmas, but they realize that "spending time with family is the most important thing," no matter what form it takes. The song "Just by Being with You" expresses the sisters' realization that "spending time with family is the most important thing," no matter what form it takes.
This time, the Japanese version of "Just by Being with You," in which Anna and Elsa sing about the bond of family as sisters, has been released for the first time! The beautiful voices of Sayaka Kanda, who plays the role of Anna, and Takako Matsu, who plays the role of Elsa, are sure to draw attention.
Since Anna and Elsa have not spent Christmas together for a long time, we hope you will enjoy the happy scene filled with the joy of spending Christmas together.
The voice cast for the Japanese version continues from the previous film, with Sayaka Kanda playing Anna, Takako Matsu playing Elsa, and Pierre Taki playing Olaf. A total of four new songs were dubbed, including the singing scenes.
Director Stevie Wormers-Skelton, who watched the singing scenes in the Japanese version, said, "I was overwhelmed by their singing voices. It was the first time we had seen the Japanese version and we thought it was really wonderful," said director Stevie Wormers-Skelton, who watched the singing scenes of the Japanese version. Regarding Anna and Elsa in the new film, he said, "In the previous film, it is the summer season and Anna and Elsa have reconciled and are spending time together. They are now a big family with Olaf and Kristoff. This film takes place about six months later and follows the next holiday season, following the previous film. Anna and Elsa are getting ready to celebrate their first holiday together.
Producer Roy Conli, who has worked on "Baymax," said, "Their voices are so beautiful that even though I don't speak Japanese, I could understand the characters through their voices. The characters are inside them.
Director Kevin Dieters commented on the film "Remember Me," which was screened at the same time, saying, "It has a similar theme of being with family. It's a different culture, but it has a similar message. I think that's a very important message given the world we live in today. I'm very proud to be screening it with such a film," he added. The song "Remember Me," which plays a key role in the story of "Remember Me," is also an Oscar-winning theme song, making it possible to enjoy the story and music twice in one movie. Following the huge "Let It Go" movement, this new classic song is sure to be sung all over Japan.

<STORY>
The main character is Miguel, a guitar prodigy who dreams of becoming a musician. However, due to strict "family rules," he is forbidden to play the guitar or even listen to music. One day, an old family photo leads Miguel to speculate that his great-grandfather was the legendary musician Delacruz. He sneaks into his great-great-grandfather's grave, picks up a beautiful guitar, and at that moment - he finds himself lost in the "Land of the Dead," where his ancestors lived!
It's a dreamlike, beautiful, theme park-like world where the Geikotsu live happily ever after. However, if he does not return to his original world by sunrise, Miguel's body will disappear and he will never be able to see his family again... His only hope is Hector, a cheerful but lonely guycot who longs to see his family. However, he, too, faces a fate: if his living family forgets him, he will disappear from the land of the dead as well.... The only key that can connect these two desperate people and their family is Miguel's favorite song, "Remember Me". This song, with its mysterious power, transcends time and now performs a miracle!
