Long-established curry specialty restaurant "Bengal" will relocate and reopen tomorrow, March 16, after an absence of about 7 months. 3/19 added a photo of beef cubes curry.

The long-established curry specialty restaurant "Bengal," which temporarily closed last August, has decided to relocate and will reopen tomorrow, March 16 (Fri.).

The location is on Shoheibashi-dori. The location is on Shoheibashi Dori, next to Bianchi Sotokanda and Hotto Motto Sotokanda 3-chome, and on the first floor of the Maruyama Building, which also houses the maid cafe "Crown Tiara" on the third floor.

3/19 addition: Beef Curry with cubes & photos of the menu added. The curry was the same as before the relocation, with well-cooked tender cubes of beef matched with an aromatic spice roux.


Bengal" is a long-established curry specialty restaurant established in 1973. It was temporarily closed in August 2017 due to the reconstruction of the Nikka Sekiyu building that houses the restaurant. The "Relocation Notice" posted in the storefront stated that the new store was scheduled to open in September (2017) or October at the latest, but a new location had yet to be decided.

The new location has now been decided, and the store will reopen tomorrow, March 16, 2018 (Friday), after 7 months since its temporary closure.

The relocation and reopening is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, March 16.
