Two hero songs collide! Report on "Kaito Sentai Lupinranger vs. Police Sentai Patranger" theme song CD release commemorative event

On Thursday, March 15, 2018, a "Kaitai Sentai Lupin Ranger vs. Police Sentai Patranger" theme song CD release commemorative event was held at Ikebukuro Sunshine City ALPA B1 Fountain Plaza in Tokyo.

This event was held to commemorate the release of "Kaitai Sentai Lupin Ranger vs. Police Sentai Patranger" theme song CD, which was released on March 14, the previous day.

The plaza where the event was held attracted a large number of spectators, young and old, men and women alike, from small friends to big ones, dressed in "Kaito Sentai Lupin Ranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patoranger" (hereafter, Lupapato) goods and toys. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, indicating the popularity of the work.

Finally, the event began!

Tatsuhiko Yoshida and Hitomi Yoshida of Project.R appeared on stage after being called on by Super Sentai Goodwill Ambassador Hiroya Matsumoto, who served as the MC for the event! First, they sang the theme song "Kaito Sentai Lupin Ranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger" in TV size.

Tatsuhiko Yoshida sang the theme song for the Lupin Ranger side, and Hitomi Yoshida sang the theme song for the Patranger side. The audience was already heated up as the two sang the complicated melody of the song live!

Some people sang along with them, others danced with them, imitating their choreography, and everyone enjoyed the live performance in their own way.

When asked by Ms. Matsumoto how they were feeling now, the two sang, "We are keenly aware of the weight of our long history. I want to do my best from now on" (Tatsuhiko Yoshida) and "I am happy to finally sing together in front of the little heroes. I'm so happy and looking forward to singing in various places in the future," said Hitomi Yoshida.

Tatsuhiko Yoshida commented, "The lyrics express the feeling of clashing with each other. The lyrics are filled with the feeling of clashing with each other, and each person has their own justice, so I hope you can read that from the lyrics. Hitomi Yoshida also pushed the point that this is the first duet song since the first title in the long history of Super Sentai, saying, "This is the first duet song since 'Goranger. After the talk, the live performance resumed. From this point on, each hero's theme song was performed live in full size.

The first song was "Lupin Ranger, Turn the Dial" sung by Tatsuhiko Yoshida. Mr. Yoshida sang enthusiastically with a fashionable sound featuring brass. During the interlude, Yoshida strongly encouraged the audience to join in the chorus, which was followed by a breathless chorus.

Then, toward the end of the show, Lupin Red appeared on stage! He ran around the plaza with his vivid body movements, enlivening the live performance.

Hitomi Yoshida sang "Chase You Up! Patranger," a song with an impressive digital beat. Ms. Yoshida sang coolly and showed off her brilliant choreography during the interlude.

And now Patollen No. 1 appeared on stage. He chased after Lupin Red or ...... something that reminds us of such a story, and ran on stage with his movements.

And finally, he struck a decisive pose with Hitomi Yoshida!

At the end of the show, Tatsuhiko Yoshida and Hitomi Yoshida appeared together again. They performed the theme song "Kaito Sentai Lupin Ranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger" in full size.

Here, Lupin Red and Patollen 1 finally encountered each other. With the song's battle as background music, the two heroes also engaged in a heated battle. The event ended with the audience cheering enthusiastically for the fiery performance.
