The "TIGER & BUNNY" tag team is back! Masakazu Katsura and Sunrise's original anime "DOUBLE DECKER! Doug & Kirill" has started!

A new original anime project has been announced as a "buddy series" work, one of the "TIGER & BUNNY" new anime series project announced on January 5, 2018.

The "TIGER & BUNNY" series will return with character design by Masakazu Katsura and planning and production by Sunrise.

The director is Takeshi Furuta, who worked on "Uta no Prince Sama! Maji LOVE Legend Star" and "The Seven Deadly Sins: The Resurrection of the Commandments. Tomohiro Suzuki will be in charge of series composition, creating an original buddy cop drama.
The main cast includes Tetsu Mikami and Kohei Amasaki in their first starring roles in an anime.

A1: When I heard about the audition and learned about Doug, I thought, "I want to play this role no matter what, this is the role I should play! I was very happy and honored when the role was decided. I was very happy and honored when it was decided, but I could not believe that it was really decided by me. I couldn't believe it. So until the recording actually starts and the work is released to the world, I may not really feel that the role has been decided for me.

Kohhei Amasaki as Kirill Vrouberg

A1: I was just so happy. When I heard that I had been chosen to play the role of Kirill, I couldn't stop shaking and smiling for a while. I was the same age as Kiril when I was excited to see the heroes in action in "TIGER & BUNNY" every week, so I want to play the role without forgetting how I felt back then.

A2: My impression of Kiril was that he was "cocky but somehow lovable. He has a bad attitude and behavior, but I think he is basically a good and straightforward boy.
I think one of the charms of this work is the presence of a buddy, Doug for Kiril, and I am very much looking forward to seeing how they will meet and what kind of buddy they will become.
I also wonder how Kiril will grow up.
