The visuals of "Flickr 2" and "Flickr 3", drawn by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, the original character designer, are unveiled to commemorate the release of the films!

A commemorative visual for "Furikuri 2" and "Furikuri 3,"sequels to the OVA "Furikuri," which will be released as a theatrical anime nationwide in 2018, has been released, newly drawn by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, the original character designer.

The OVA "Furikuri" was released between 2000 and 2001 (6 volumes), produced by Production I.G and Gainax, and directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki, the director of the "Evangelion" series. The series gained legendary popularity for its outrageous OVA content, elaborate artwork, abundant parodies, and excellent music by the Pillows. In August 2015, Gainax transferred the original rights to Production I.G. In March 2016, it was announced that Production I.G and Cartoon Network, Inc. of the United States would jointly produce a sequel. For "Furikuri 2" and "Furikuri 3," Kazuya Tsurumaki will supervise, Katsuyuki Motohiro, who worked on the live-action film "Odoru Daisousasen" and the anime "PSYCHO-PASS: Psycho-Pass," will be the general director, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, who designed characters in the previous series, will draft characters, and Hideto Iwai Mr. Hideto Iwai will write the script.
