The Young Lady is a Shogakusei! (original story by Hiroko Reijo, illustrated by Asami) is a popular series published by Kodansha Aoitori Bunko that has sold a total of 3 million copies. The story depicts how Okko (Oriko Seki), a sixth grader who lost her parents in an accident and has come to live at her grandmother's hot spring inn "Harunoya," struggles every day as a young wolf to entertain the unusual guests who keep coming, with the help of Uribo the Yurei and her rival, Mayuki.

I used to read books when I was in elementary school. I used to read "Wakaokami wa Shogakusei!" in the library when I was in elementary school. I remember I couldn't stop turning the pages and I was so absorbed in reading it. I am very happy to be in charge of the theme song for a work that holds so many memories for me.

I recorded the theme song, "To Your Stage," with the hope that it would give a push to the hard-working Okko-chan. In the lyrics, there is a phrase, "No matter where you are, this sky is the only one. It has been two years since I moved to Tokyo from Shizuoka. Even though there are times when I cry because I can't give a satisfactory performance, I have family and friends who support me under the same sky!　I was empowered by singing this song. I hope to sing this song so that I can be a source of strength for others under the same sky.
