TV anime "Asobiverse" to begin airing in July; staff and cast revealed! Stage to be held at AnimeJapan2018

The TV anime serialized in "Young Animal" (published by Hakusensha) is scheduled to air in July, and the staff and cast have been announced.

Asobiobase" is a manga work by Rin Ryokawa, serialized in "Young Animal" (Hakusensha). Three junior high school girls, Olivia, a beautiful blonde girl born and raised in Japan who cannot speak English at all, Kasumi, a short-cut girl with glasses who is serious and intelligent but cannot speak English at all, and Hanako, a girl with pigtails who is cheerful but cannot be a "real" person, form a "playmates' study group. It is a comedy work with cute illustrations and surrealistic gags.

The TV anime will start airing in July. The staff and cast have also been revealed.

The director is Seiji Kishi, who directed "Tsuki ga Kirei" and "Yuki Yuna wa Yusha de Aru - Washio Sumi no Sho -/- Yusha no Sho -",
Series composition is by Yuko Kakihara of "Tsuki ga Kirei" and "orange," and animation production is by Lerche of "Hakumei to Mikochi" and "Kino's Journey -the Beautiful World- the Animated Series.

In addition, a stage for "Asobiobase" will be held at the KADOKAWA booth at AnimeJapan 2018 on March 24 and 25. Hina Kino who plays Hanako Honda, Rika Nagae who plays Olivia, and Yoshimi Obara who plays Kasumi Nomura are scheduled to take the stage. The stage will also be broadcast live on Nico Nico Live, YouTube Live, and Facebook Live, so those who cannot make it to the venue will not have to worry.

In addition, from Monday, March 19 to Sunday, March 25, a poster of "Asobiobase" will be displayed at Kokusai Tenjijo Station on the Rinkai Line. The "Anime Guide 2018 supported by AnimeJapan", which is an e-book of the "Cross-maker Anime Guide" that provides seasonal information on all 85 works, will also be available anywhere in Japan.

Hanako Honda (CV: Hina Kino)

Hanako Honda is a bright and active girl who can study and do sports. Unfortunately, she is not very smart.
She longs to be a "Rear Enthusiast" and is active in the soft tennis club at her junior high school in order to become one herself, but there is no sign of her becoming a Rear Enthusiast.

Olivia (CV: Nagae Rika)

A blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl who transferred to Hanako and her friends' junior high school. Both of her parents are foreigners, and at first glance she appears to be fluent in English, but because she was born and raised in Japan, she is not very good at English and can barely speak it.

Nomura Kasumi (CV: Yoshimi Obara)

She appears to be an honor student type who reads books in the classroom after school, but she is a disappointing girl who is catastrophically unable to speak English. In order to overcome her weakness in English, she asks Olivia to teach her English. She has big breasts that are hard to believe for a junior high school student.
