The animated film "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion 2: Rebels", currently in theaters, will be released on BD & DVD on June 8!

The Blu-ray and DVD release date for the anime film "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion 2: Rebels" in theaters has been set for June 8, 2018 (Friday).

Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion" is a TV anime that aired its first season in 2006 and its second season "R2" in 2008. Set in Japan, which has become a territory of the Britannian Empire, the work depicts Lelouch, a Britannian who has acquired the power of absolute compliance, putting on a mask named "Zero" and leading a resistance army against Britannia: The series gained popularity among both men and women alike.

At the "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion: Kiseki no Anniversary" event held on November 27, 2016 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the start of the series, the production of a theater version trilogy that reconstructed all 50 episodes of the TV series with new parts and newly dubbed all the episodes was announced. This time, Blu-ray & DVD of the second part "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion 2: Rebels", which is now in theaters as a blockbuster hit, will be released on June 8 (Fri.), 2012!　The Blu-ray <Special Limited Edition> will include a bonus disc with visual commentary by director Goro Taniguchi and Takahiro Sakurai (who plays Suzaku), a special booklet (52 pages), and a three-sided case with illustrations by Takahiro Kimura, the character designer.
