The TV anime "Black Clover" released "Black Clover Chapter I", the first volume of the Blu-ray & DVD series, on February 23. The "Black Clover Super Event" was held on March 18 (Sun.) at "United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba" and Black Clover fans went wild over the premium content of the event.

This popular work is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha/authored by Hiromoto Tabata) and has sold more than 5 million copies in total. The story is set in a world where everyone can use magic, and Asta and Yuno are abandoned in a church in the farthest land and raised as lowly citizens. Asta, who for some reason was born with no magic at all, and Yuno, who possesses prodigious magical powers, are two contrasting characters who aim to become the "Magic Emperor," the pinnacle of mages who can save the world, and this is an epic fantasy work about their adventures and growth in magic. The ensemble cast of unique characters with their own unique tastes, the splendid voice cast, and the beautiful magic battle scenes have become the talk of the town, and the series has gained support from people of all ages and both men and women of all ages as a high-profile, royal-road anime.

Junichi Suwabe, who plays Yami Skehiro, moderated the event, and Takehito Kajiwara, who plays Asta, Nobunaga Shimazaki, who plays Yuno, Kana Yuuki, who plays Noel, and Genki Muro, who plays Magna, took the stage. In the first corner, "Superlative! Magical Comedy," the performers imagined and answered questions on various magic topics. The audience was also invited to participate in the "Together with the audience! A superb guessing game in which the audience can also participate! Then came the much-anticipated reading session. The scenario for this reading play was titled "Let's make a reading play together" and was written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, who is in charge of the composition of the TV anime series, based on the theme "Yami Skehiro x School Comedy," which was voted the best by the fans on Twitter. The story centers on Asta, a student at Royal Clover Academy, and Yami, the homeroom teacher of Asta's class, the "Black Bull" class, which boasts the lowest level of academic achievement at the school. At the end of the event, Mr. Muro said, "I think everyone enjoyed the close proximity of this superb event," and Ms. Yuuki said, "I hope everyone could feel the fun atmosphere of the recording sessions. Mr. Suwabe said, "Bracro is a passionate story in which the character grows while clashing with rivals and friends, as befits a work on the royal road of JUMP. I play the role of a character who watches over others, but I will be playing a more active role in the future, so please continue to enjoy the story." Shimazaki added, "In the anime, there are parts of Yuno's character that you can enjoy more deeply, which are not in the original story. I will continue to grow together with Asta, so please continue to support me," said Shimazaki, who is determined to grow as Asta's rival. Kajiwara-san lamented, "It's frustrating that I can't use ad-lib magic (because I couldn't improvise well at the event). The original story is taking an unexpectedly hot turn, so I will do my best to deliver the same passion to everyone in the anime as in the original story. Please continue to support Black Clover.


The closing remarks were made in true Black Clover fashion, with Mr. Kajiwara's call of "Which one of you will become the Magical Emperor? and the event ended on a high note.


The Blu-ray and DVD series "Black Clover Chapter I" containing up to 10 episodes of the TV anime is now on sale. The jacket illustration depicting a stylish scene of Yuno and Sylph performing magic has been unveiled.

＜Synopsis
In a world where magic is everything.

Asta and Yuno, who were abandoned on the same day in a church in a village at the end of the world, spend their days striving to become the top mage and magic emperor, respectively.

In the year they turn 15, they are given a "grimoire" that enhances the magical power of its owner, and they take the entrance examination for the Order of the Magical Knights, a legion of mages under the direct control of the Magical Emperor.

As a result, Asta, who has no magic power at all, is selected to join the "Black Bull," a group of ruffians, and Yuno, who has strong magic power, is selected to join the "Golden Dawn," an elite group.
