An original TV animation series and smartphone game "Akane Sasu Shoujo" will be produced to commemorate Animax's 20th anniversary.

Animax Broadcast Japan Inc., the operator of the animation channel "Animax", which has been in operation for 20 years, has announced that it will produce an original TV animation series and smartphone game, "Akane Sasu Shoujo", as its 20th anniversary production.
The work will be broadcast and distributed on Animax, ANIMAX on PlayStationR, and other terrestrial stations. The smartphone game will be distributed free of charge.

The staff includes Hitoshi Tamamura of "Ochidai Knight no Hero Tan" as director, Kotaro Uchikoshi of "Ever17 -the out of infinity-" as scenario designer, Masakazu Katsura of "ZETMAN" as character designer, and Hiroyuki Asada of "Tegamibachi" as concept artist and character designer, The series composition and script will be written by Shogo Yasukawa of "Shokugeki no Soma", character design by Daiki Harada of "Sasami-san @ Ganbaranai", and animation production by Dandelion Animation Studio / Jumonji of "RoboMasters".
