The year 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the animated adaptation of "Gegege no Kitaro," an anniversary year. The new TV series "Gegege no Kitaro" (6th season) will start airing every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. on April 1 on Fuji Television and other stations to mark this memorable occasion.

Yukiyo Fujii, who plays Mana Inuyama, the heroine of the film, took the stage and expressed her enthusiasm for the film.

The cast took the stage and first introduced the 50-year history of "GeGeGe no Kitaro" animation, including the first work, whose black-and-white images evoked the history of the series, the second work, which was broadcast in color, as well as the 21st century Kitaro, and the film that will be produced in the 50th year, which should be commemorated. スクリーンに映し出される。

However, they talked about the ending of the third season, which they remembered as being scary with its lyrics about how the yokai would come for bad children who did not listen and take them away, and how cool Kitaro was protecting the heroine, Yumeko.

After a brief discussion of the past works, the talk turned to the latest work, and the beginning of the first episode of the new series was shown on the screen, showing Kitaro in a modern-day setting. The audience was glued to the screen as new images were shown one after another, including the scene of Kitaro and Mana's encounter and the introduction of Kitaro's yokai friends.

The cast members explained about the characters they play, and when the conversation turned to the character played by Mr. Nozawa, the three of them all appealed to the audience, and the talk became more passionate than the introduction of the character they play.

At this point, the artist in charge of the theme song was introduced, and a video message from Kiyoji Hikawa, who sings the opening song, was shown. Speaking of Mr. Hikawa, he also sang the theme song "Limit Breaker x Survivor" for "Dragon Ball Super," in which Mr. Nozawa plays Goku, and he spoke enthusiastically about his joy at being in charge of the theme song for a work he has admired since childhood.
