Cast members of two high-profile anime titles appeared on stage! Report on "Genco New Anime Stage - 'Shika Fudo Yotsukuro Biyori' and 'YU-NO: The Girl Who Sings Love at the End of the World'" [AnimeJapan2018].

The Jenco New Anime Stage - "Jenco New Anime Stage - "Shika Fudo Yotsukuro Biyori" and "The Girl Who Sings Love at the End of the World YU-NO" -" was held at AnimeJapan 2018 on March 24 and 25, 2018.

The stage was held on March 24 at AnimeJapan 2018's RED Stage, and cast members from both works appeared on stage to the delight of fans. Here are some scenes from the stage.

First, an introduction movie of "YU-NO: The Girl Who Sings Love to the Ends of the Earth" was shown on the stage screen. YU-NO" was first released as a PC game in 1996, followed by a Sega Saturn version in 1997, and PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions in 2017, making it a masterpiece novel game that is still loved over 20 years later. This "legendary game," which was said to be impossible to make into an anime, is now being produced as a two-cour anime.

Isamu Hayashi, who plays Takuya Arima, Rie Kugimiya, who plays Mio Shimazu, Mare Uchida, who plays Kanna Hatano, and Arie Ozawa, who plays Yuno, took the stage. It was also announced that Mai Otsuka, known for her "Shakugan no Shana" series, will be the character designer, and Tetsuo Hirakawa, who directed "The Book of Magic: Starting from Zero," will be the director.

Director Hirakawa, who appeared as a video message, said that in addition to the fact that the anime version will depict all the routes of all the characters, "the difference between the game and the anime version" is that he wants people to pay attention to the relationships between the female characters, which were not depicted in the game, and he also talked about the highlights of the anime version of "YU-NO: A Girl Who Sings Love at the End of the World". He also commented that each character is "more down-to-earth" (Takuya Arima), "more tsundere" (Mio Shimazu), "more mysterious" (Kanna Hatano), and "may appear more often than in the game" (Yuno). (Yuno). In particular, Shimazu Mio's "more tsundere" was written by Kugimiya, who also wrote the script for the cast.

In response to this, each of the cast members referred to their own characters.

She is cynical and mischievous, but she is also kind to her friends. She is a character with many different faces," said Isamu Hayashi.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Shimazu Mio will turn out (after hearing that she will have more of a tsundere personality).

Kanna is a girl with a mysterious charm. I hope you can look forward to seeing what she has to offer as we get to know each other better.

I was told not to say anything about Yuno, because if I did, the fun would be cut in half (laughs). She is just an energetic, bright and honest girl! (I'm glad (that she will have more opportunities to appear in the anime)! That alone is a big relief.

The "YU-NO" stage came to an end with the cast members giving one last comment each.

The stage then moved on to the anime "Shika Fudo Yotsukuro Biyori" which will start airing in April. Based on a manga serialized in "Monthly Comic @ Bunch" (Shinchosha), this is a heartwarming story set in a Japanese-style cafe where specialists in tea ceremony, latte art, and sweets work. On stage were Junichi Suwabe, who plays the role of Kyosui Togoku, Yuichi Nakamura, who plays Tokitaka Nagae, and Tomoaki Maeno, who plays Hachikyo Togoku.

Each of them introduced the charms of the character they play. "Sui loves cats and I love dogs, but we don't mind working together," said Suwabe, "I've worked with many voice actors on other scenes, but I've never seen a work with such a relaxed atmosphere. If anything, we were killing each other (laughs)" (Nakamura). He also mentioned the fact that Sui and Hachikyo Togoku share a similar name and visual appearance, and hinted at their relationship, thereby stirring up the audience's anticipation for the work.

The MC then asked the audience about episodes from the postrecording sessions. Suwabe confessed that he is not very good at making Japanese sweets. Nakamura also commented, "That's outrageous. Still, the confections brought to the set are "so good that I can eat them even if I'm not very good at them," Suwabe said.

Mr. Maeno also revealed that co-stars Daiki Yamashita and Kosuke Toriumi share the same office, and that he and Mr. Toriumi were deeply moved when they saw how Mr. Yamashita, who is his junior, immediately reflected the director's instructions in the recording, saying "Yamashita-kun, you've gotten better.

While the talk was getting lively, the artist aki, who sings the opening theme song "Sakura-iro Cliche," appeared on stage. She commented, "The song incorporates a lot of the anime's worldview, and the lyrics include words such as 'latte art' and 'demi-glace,' which remind me of the work, so please listen to the song and pay attention to that as well! he commented.

After that, the stage reached its climax with the introduction of broadcast information, including an advance screening of the show. Suwabe-san then started to feel rivalry with the other stages at AnimeJapan 2018. Nakamura-san asked, "Do you want to sing?" The audience applauded and Mr. Suwabe performed an impromptu rendition of "Shika Fudo Yotsuro Biyori no Uta" (Songs of Shika Fudo Yotsuro Biyori).

The audience then applauded as Mr. Suwabe concluded the show by saying, "You might get really hungry after watching this. The audience gave a yellow voice and thunderous applause.
