The TV anime "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These," which will begin airing on April 3 (Tue.), will feature posters with quotes from the original work, advertisements with visuals of Director Ishiguro's version, and memories of "The Legend of the Silver Heroes" from celebrities and fans in transportation and web ads.

The "Legend of the Galactic Heroes" is a science fiction novel by Yoshiki Tanaka, and has been a bestseller with a total of over 15 million copies sold since the first volume was published in 1982. The series was also called "Legend of the Galactic Voice Actors" because most of the voice actors active in Japan at the time were cast in the series. The series has expanded beyond animation to comics, games, stage plays, and other media, and continues to attract many fans. The new animation "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These" is a new visualization of the original novel "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes" starting from the first volume "Reimeihen". Production I.G, which has produced numerous popular works such as "Ghost in the Shell" and "PSYCHO-PASS: Psycho-Pass" series, will be in charge of the production, which will consist of a total of 24 episodes.

Based on the concept that the new anime "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These" will be added to the history of "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes," a poster with quotes from the original work, advertisements linked to visuals of Ishiguro's version, and memories of "The Legend of the Silver Heroes" from celebrities and fans will be used in traffic and web advertisements. The advertisements will include 42 quotes from the original work.

In addition, 42 quotes from the original work will be displayed at all 29 stations on the Yamanote Line, and at the free passageway outside the ticket gates of Shinagawa Station, the Ishiguro-directed characters and the new anime characters will be lined up side by side on the right and left. The advertisement was a large-scale measure, with celebrities such as Kaname Phoenix, who played Reinhardt in "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes @TAKARAZUKA," Kabuki actor Shoroku Onoe, who is a fan of "Silver Eiden," and Takuya Tatsumasu, the governor of Iwate Prefecture, as well as a PV ad with comments from "Minnu Eiden" for short "Silver Eiden" collected on the official website of this work.
