A report from the world premiere screening of the first episode held at Anime Boston, one of the largest anime conventions on the East Coast of the United States, has arrived from the TV anime "Himine to Masotan"scheduled to air from April 12 (Thursday).

Directed by Higuchi Shinji, who directed the blockbuster hit "Shin Godzilla," "Hither and There" is directed by Okada Mari (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai). A novel work story about a dragon managed by the Air Self-Defense Force and its new crew members unfolds heartwarmingly through the interaction between the dragon and the girl.

We have just received a report from the world premiere screening of the first episode held at Anime Boston, one of the largest anime conventions on the East Coast of the United States, and would like to share it with you.

Anime Boston, one of the largest anime conventions on the East Coast of the United States, was held in Boston, Massachusetts again this year, and on March 31, the second day of the event, the world premiere screening of the first episode of "Hishine and Masotan" was held.

AnimeBoston attracted a lot of attention from the organizers, and was introduced on the top page of the official schedule guide "Conchowder". BONES, the animation production company, already has a large fan base in North America, thanks to its past achievements, and "Shin Godzilla," directed by Shinji Higuchi, is also very popular. The scriptwriter, Mari Okada, is also well known in North America for works such as "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai" ("We Still Don't Know the Name of the Flower We Saw That Day"). About 500 fans gathered early to be among the first in the world to see the latest Bonds film, created by a top creator who is also popular in North America.
Masahiko Minami, president of Vons, was a guest at last year's Anime Bosoton. When the MC told the audience in his opening talk that he was unfortunately unable to attend this year's Anime Bosoton, there was an outpouring of disappointment. The audience was filled with BONES fans, "Shin Godzilla" fans, and "Anohana" fans, and when Higuchi introduced "Shin Godzilla" as his masterpiece, the audience cheered especially loudly.

The audience was already laughing from the start of the screening, and it was evident that the gathered fans were enjoying themselves. The audience was delighted by Hizune's monologue, Nao's Yankee-like character, and Hizune's line "It's not mimicry but cosplay..." in response to Masotan, who was clad in parts of a fighter plane. The scene of conversation between Hizune and Okonogi in the smoking room also drew laughter with the gap between Hizune's energetic monologue and cool Okonogi. The best part of the show was the scene where Hishine was swallowed by a dragon and spit out, which made the fans who did not expect the pilot to be swallowed burst into laughter. The scene at the end of the movie, when Hishine flies into the sky on the Masotan for the first time, drew the loudest cheers and applause of the day. After the screening, the audience applauded and gave many very favorable comments such as "Thank you for bringing it all the way from Japan," "It was really interesting," and "I can't wait to see the next one.
Not a single person left the theater during the show, and everyone who gathered enjoyed the work immensely from beginning to end. The world premiere, which was filled with laughter and cheers from start to finish, ended on a high note.
