Episode 1 Synopsis
Daigo Shigeno is an elementary school student whose father is still an active professional baseball player.

He starts playing baseball with the Mifune Dolphins, a youth baseball team, because he admires his father, Goro, who used to play in the major leagues. However, under the pressure of being a second-generation player, he was unable to improve as much as he would have liked, and he quit baseball after less than a year, leading a lethargic life.

In the spring of his sixth grade year, a transfer student who had returned from America appeared before Daigo's eyes.

The transfer student's name was Hikaru Sato. Hikaru's father was Hisaya Sato, a former major leaguer and friend of Goro's....
