The group was full of enthusiasm for their first starring role in an anime! Mini-live report on the release of "Kiratto Start" by Run Girls, Run!

On April 7, 2018, voice actress unit "Run Girls, Run!" held a mini live to celebrate the release of their second single "Kiratto Start" at Ikebukuro Sunshine City ALPA B1 Fountain Square.

Run Girls, Run!" was selected from approximately 2000 candidates in the "avex×81produce Wake Up, Girls! AUDITION 3rd Animation Song Vocal Audition" and was born as a unit following the 1st "i☆Ris" and 2nd "Wake Up, Girls! The three members are Koko Hayashi, Yuka Morishima, and Nanami Atsugi.

They appeared in the TV anime "Wake Up, Girls! New Chapter" broadcast from October 2017 as members of Run Girls, Run!, a rookie unit of the same name as the real one that admires WUG, as well as the OP theme "Slide Ride" of the TV anime "Death March Kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku". She also made her major single debut as an artist in the TV anime "Death March Kara Hajimari Isekai Kyousoukyoku".

On May 2, her second single "Kiratto Pri☆Chan", which is also the theme song for the anime "Kiratto Pri☆Chan" that started in April, will be released. To commemorate the release, a mini live concert was held on the day before "Kiratto Pri☆Chan" aired.

The three members energetically danced to the venue packed with many fans and performed the new song "Kiratto Start" first. The choreography and singing seemed to have become more familiar as they had already performed at Anime Japan 2018 and other venues. The energetic singing voice and choreography that made the audience want to move their bodies along with the song, caused the audience's voltage to soar. It was impressive that the fans were already calling out and clapping their hands.

Since this was a free live concert, the stage was crowded with shoppers. The three members gave a sparkling performance, and many people stopped in their tracks to watch them.

After singing, the three talked about "Kiratto Pri☆Chan" with Ms. Hayashi playing the role of the main character, Mirai Momoyama, and Ms. Atsugi playing the role of Rinka Aoba.

Ms. Hayashi said, "Mirai is a bit of a shy girl, so at first I acted her as a quiet girl, but the sound director told me to be more energetic, so I'm acting with 100 times more energy, just like me! Atsugi commented, "I want to play the role of supporting Mirai-chan, so I want to make the audience yearn for a girl who supports Mirai-chan, too. Both expressed their enthusiasm for their first starring roles.

Morishima also commented, "I have to get ready for the show! Everyone, please support me. The audience applauded warmly in support of her wish.

The live resumed with the 1st single song "Slide Ride". This song had been playing on TV as the theme song for the 2018 winter anime "Death March Kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku" until just a few days ago. The three sang the song with the dizzying band sound! The cute faces they showed in "Kiratto Pri☆Chan" were different from their cooler looks, and they charmed the audience.

The last song of the mini live was "Kakeru x Kakeru," the first song for Run Girls, Run! The audience cheered for the straight rock tune with a lot of energy!

After the mini live, the audience shook hands with the girls. It was very funny to see the three of them finding each fan's face and holding hands with them.

The mini live performance was a reminder of the momentum of the three girls who have just started to run. Watch out for Run Girls, Run!
