The buildings and food in the work are unique to Kyoto, and you can imagine "What kind of antiques and mysteries will appear in this story...! I was thrilled to read the original work because it was filled with so many exciting things. I think the soft and gentle atmosphere of this work is also its charm.

Ishikawa: I had a yearning to see a world like the one in this work spread out in a store I happened to drop in on a whim.
The characters in this work are somehow human, and I felt very familiar with this world. I thought it was very fascinating that it seemed like something that might not exist anywhere else.

Q2: What is your enthusiasm for the role?

Tomita: Aoi and I are from the same hometown and have many things in common, so I feel close to her...! When I auditioned for the role, I was a high school student just like Aoi, so I thought that I could play the role in my own way and sympathize with the problems of human relations peculiar to adolescence. I hope to grow together with Aoi through the work!

Ishikawa: I am worried about whether I can pronounce the words properly since the character speaks the language of Kyoto. I myself am weak in the accent itself, so I will do my best to reproduce the Kyoto language with the help of the people around me. In addition to his use of language, I would like to play his strong heart, intelligence, and the gap between the two.

Q3. The show will air in July 2018. Please give a comment to your fans.
