Fist of the North Star" 35th Anniversary Framed Stamp Set and Pure Gold Postcards with Autographs are Available at Post Offices Only Starting Today, April 16 (Monday)

A frame stamp set commemorating the 35th anniversary of "Fist of the North Star" and a pure gold postcard autographed by the author are available exclusively at post offices starting today, April 16 (Mon.).

Fist of the North Star" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 1983 to 1988 by Takeru Takemono in the original story and Tetsuo Hara in the manga. The story is set at the end of the century, when civilization has been lost due to nuclear war and violence rules the world, and depicts Kenshiro, a Hokuto Shinken master, growing up as a savior with love and sorrow on his shoulders. The work has become a social phenomenon.

Currently, the TV anime "SOUTEN-NO-KEN REGENESIS," which depicts the past of "Hokuto no Ken" and the life of the 62nd Hokuto Shinken lore master, Kasumi Kenshiro, set in Shanghai in the 1930s, is airing.

On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of "Fist of the North Star," which started in 1983 and dominated the 80's, on September 13, a special item full of pictures from the original work that depicts the lives of legendary characters such as "Hokuto Shinken" legend Kenshiro and end-of-the-century champion and fist king Raoh will be released. The special item, which is full of pictures from the original story, will be on sale exclusively at post offices starting today, April 16 (Mon.).
