The official report of Eri Sasaki's first solo live "UNDER The Starry Sky" has arrived.

Eri Sasaki is a "healer-songwriter" who creates and sings songs with the theme of emotional healing, and as an exclusive writer for Sony Music Publishing, she has provided many songs as well as sung and sang in chorus. In 2015, she made her CD debut as a singer with "Ring of Fortune," the OP theme of the TV anime "Plastic Memories. In January 2018, her 3rd single "Fuyubiyori" (ED theme of TV anime "Yuru Can") was released.

The official report of Sasaki's first solo live "UNDER The Starry Sky" held on April 7 (Sat) at NDER2.5, a newly opened live house in Nishi-Kawaguchi, has just arrived, so let us introduce it to you.

April 7. On April 7, Eri Sasaki held her first solo live.
It has been exactly 3 years since her debut in April 2015 with "Ring of Forutune", the theme song of the anime "Plastic Memories". This was the first solo live performance by Pear.

The venue was the newly built live house "UNDER2.5" in Nishi-Kawaguchi, not far from the city center.
It was also the grand opening day of the live house, and Eri Sasaki was chosen for the commemorative opening performance.
For this live performance, the artist herself did everything, including choosing the venue, selecting goods, painting new oil paintings, making bracelets, and handmade CDs. It was truly a "handmade live" performance with an analog feel, which Eri Sasaki prefers.

Doors opened at 18:00.
Ambient music by Eri Sasaki and Hiro Nakamura's new unit "Herio" was played and the stage was lit by candlelight. The stage was illuminated with stars, and the space itself was tinted with the world of Eri Sasaki.


At 19:00, the performance finally began.
As the introduction of the first song "YURUSU" played, Eri Sasaki appeared from the back of the venue to loud applause and sang solo.
She greeted the audience with a bashful smile and called the band members to the stage. Hiro Nakamura (Gt), Masashi Iwasaki (Dr), and Kyoko Osako (Key). It was an acoustic band formation that made the most of Eri Sasaki's clear voice.
The band sang the second song "Ring of Fortune" in high spirits to meet the audience's expectations, followed by "Pausing" and "Hazel eyes," both written by Sasaki herself from her first CD "Period," and other gentle songs.


The guitar-less set was followed by "Be clear," a song with a refreshing atmosphere.
The following song "Mononokai Koibo" was an up-tempo jazzy arrangement. The audience spontaneously clapped their hands in unison.


In the middle of the concert, Hiro Nakamura reappeared on stage for an impromptu performance, leaving the two of them alone on stage. The audience was instantly enveloped by the soothing sound of Herio, whose theme is "healing," and some were moved to tears.


The stage was heated up again with "Last Diary" performed by the full band members, followed by "Otoninaru," in which the members were introduced with solos, as if they were in a band.
The final song was the magnificent "Period," which began with a poetry reading. The band came back on stage to end the show with "Fuyubiyori," the ED theme song for the TV anime "Yuru Can△.

A total of 17 songs were performed in a blink of an eye. I want to listen to them all the time. But that's it for today.
It was a blissful two hours of a luxurious, slow, and luxurious experience of Eri Sasaki's singing voice.
