Nobunaga's Ninja: Anegawa/Ishiyama Arc, episodes 54 and 55: Visit, Chidori Ranbu!

Well, here's a summary review of the third cool, two-part series!

The third season of "Nobunaga's Ninja " is a short anime based on a four-frame manga of the same name (written by Naoki Shigeno) serialized in Young Animal (Hakusensha), and it has many hidden fans due to its excellent performance as a gag anime about the Warring States period, The third season will finally depict the "Battle of Anegawa" and the "Battle of Ishiyama," two of the most important battles on Nobunaga's road to unifying the country. If you are a history fan, you absolutely have to watch it! This is a must-see for history buffs!

Episode 54 "Isono, Launch! is the story of Kazumasa Isono, an elite member of the Asai forces who led the advance at the Battle of Anegawa. Isono is known for his courage and daring, but it is interesting to note that he is portrayed in the film as a "skinny" character who refuses to admit that he is in pain or that he has been hit. Even if he is cut and bleeds a little during the rush, he refuses to admit it, saying something like, "I saved myself the trouble of peeling off the scab! He is a war fool who refuses to admit it. All Isono wanted was Nobunaga's head! The Oda forces, on the other hand, were waiting for him in several positions. In Hideyoshi Hashiba's position, Hanbei Takenaka successfully broke the formation, but Isono still could not stop. Fearful.

In the following episode, "Chidori Ranbu" (Episode 55), the Isono rushes forward even further. They kicked the Oda forces to the curb. The first one to stand in his way was Katsuie Shibata, the leader of the Oda army's cut-throat force. Katsuie, who is known for his valor, was able to stop this rush! But then Isono happened to say, "I can't face Nagamasa-sama and Oichi-sama," to which Katsuie responded, "I can't draw my bow on Oichi-sama," and fell down. For Katsuie, Oichi was the eternal madonna of his admiration. It must have been that Oichi's face flickered in his mind. Oh, what a simpleton and fool you are, Katsuie!

Isono, charging forward even more, quickly broke through the army of Mori Katsunari. Finally, they approached Nobunaga's main camp. Standing in his way was Maeda Toshiie, aka "Dog," the best spearman in the Oda army. Toshiie's spear was truly unmatched. Isono, as expected, was stopped in his tracks, and in his desperation, he threw his own 10 o'clock spear at Nobunaga! The spear pierced Nobunaga's foot, but Nobunaga was unfazed, so cool!

And then there was our Chidori-chan, who was moving right behind Isono, using the dagger he had been given by a master swordsmith in the middle of the second period, and cutting down Isono's army singlehandedly. Amazing, amazing, too amazing, Chidori-chan.... The sheer force of it is at the level of a warrior, even if it is called "Ranbu"! She's scary with a cute face, isn't she?

So, Isono was left behind without a chance. However, there is no word of retreat in his mind. But then, a tactful attendant said to him, "This is not a retreat. This is not a retreat, but an advance toward tomorrow. He turned around and retreated in a frenzy, as if he were a simpleton. Isono, the fierce general... Ah, we (laugh).

On the other side of the battle, the Asakura forces supporting the Asai forces and the Tokugawa forces supporting the Oda forces were also engaged in fierce fighting. From Asakura's army, the great sword-wielding hero Nagara Naotaka went into battle, knocking down Mikawa warriors known for their bravery. Then came Honda Tadakatsu, the fiercest general in the Tokugawa army! The strongest against the strongest! And then he marched into the battlefield, making history buffs swoon!

Next time, the battle between "Naotaka Magara and Tadakatsu Honda" finally arrives! A must-see!
