Thoughts on "Hizune and Masotan" Episode 2: New Discoveries Stimulate Curiosity! It was fun again this time!

Hiroki Ikushima, the deputy director in charge of special clothing development, appears from the beginning of the film. His interaction with the cab driver is very Showa-esque, but Junichi Suwabe's voice is so well suited to it that I couldn't help but laugh. The way he says "hip 86cm" is just too good. ...... Also, the BGM including the flight scene was really cool, and Yutaka Zaisei's "I can't get my finger on it" comment to Hishine was too strong. I also liked the pure voice of Riko Fukumoto singing the song, and the large letters in the credits, just like in old anime.

In the second episode, the charm of Kaizaki Nao, who is a yankee but is actually a girl, was quite apparent, but in inverse proportion to that, Amakasu Hishine's badassery was also noticeable. In the second episode, he is no longer so reserved, and his thoughts are leaking out. He hurts Kaizaki and OTF (dragon) with his light remark, "I don't want to be that much of a D-pie," and then he says all the things he regrets, which should normally irritate us, but for some reason it is very amusing! This is due not only to the interesting script, but also to the power of the pictures and the voice acting. This is not only because of the interesting script, but also because of the power of the pictures and the voice acting. An anime that I think would not be possible without this picture and voice is strong.

Behind the outlandish Hishine, who is going her own way, the drama of Kaizaki and Airman 2nd Class Kakiho is also well-developed. Kaizaki is accused of sabotaging Hishine and takes off on a stolen motorcycle, and Hishine and OTF decide to look for him. Hishine realizes that her half-hearted comment earlier had hurt not only Kaizaki but also OTF, and apologizes honestly, and OTF forgives her. In this area, it seems that OTF understands all the words as well. I thought that Hizune is a new type of protagonist, who basically has no idea of "true intention and tatemae" at all, which is a new type of protagonist who throws a stone at Japanese people who tend to think that they don't know what they are thinking. The fact that she has no backstory is even more refreshing. I don't know if that's why OTF accepted her ...... or not (she said in the first episode that her aptitude test results were good to begin with). Anyway, I wonder why the description of being eaten by a dragon is so powerful every time (lol).

Then, he easily found Kaizaki, who had fallen off a cliff and was injured, and protected him. At that time, in OTF, I found the word "masotan (間租譚?)" and Hizune started to call OTF "Masotan". And then, "After all, ...... she is the chosen miko (priestess)" (kiraan), and Commander Sosoda's meaningful statement continues to the next article!

I thought ...... and was surprised to see that the ending was a cover of a French pop song from the 60s. The song is "le temps de la rentrée ~Love's Way Home (New Term) ~" by France Gal, sung by Hirushine and Nao, and I was amazed that they could sing it! And. The touch of the pictures and the movements are cute, and I was happy to see even their respective let-down hairstyles. When you watch an anime, if it contains something that leads you to some kind of discovery or curiosity, you feel that the time spent watching it is very meaningful. For example, "Fly Me To The Moon" from "Neon Genesis Evangelion" was one such example. In this sense, "Hishine and Masotan" is an anime that stimulates various kinds of curiosity!
