In the "Recommended Remake & Reboot Anime Popularity Poll," remakes of classic anime works that have been re-animated using current technology and reboots that have been created from completely different perspectives based on the original works are selected. The plan is to decide the most popular title among the remakes and reboots of nostalgic masterpieces.

The top-ranked movie "Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love," based on the 1978 animated movie "Farewell Space Battleship Yamato: Warriors of Love," is currently in first place with 527 votes, more than double the score of the second place. Three years after Yamato completes its voyage to Iskandar, the threat of the battle nation of Imperial Gatlantis looming over a recovering Earth, and the new voyage of Yamato's crew to confront it, are depicted in a total of seven chapters. In addition to the high level of perfection of the work itself, various other factors such as the unpredictable storyline unique to "2202" and the high expectations for the fifth chapter, "Purgatory Arc," which is scheduled for theatrical release on May 25 (Friday), seem to have helped this film to take the top spot.

Following behind the "Space Battleship Yamato" series in first and second place is "Magical GuruGuru (2017)" (192 votes), which boldly cut the storyline to complete the original story in 2 cools and carefully depicted the original comic in a more understandable way over 5 cools, and with the original author, "Space Battleship Yamato" (2017) (191 votes). I didn't know there was such a way to interpret it! I didn't know it was possible to express it in this way! and "I was impressed by it" (183 votes).

In the top 10, with only 58 votes separating 5th and 10th place, were "Fate/Stay night Unlimited Blade Works (2014)" (138 votes), "Arslan Senki: The Heroic Legend of Arslan" (123 votes), and " Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion I Koudou" (97 votes), "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These Encounter" (94 votes), "Evangelion" (85 votes) and "Kino's Journey -the Beautiful World- the Animated Series" (80 votes).
