From "Made in Abyss" comes a 1/6th scale figure of Nanachi, the self-proclaimed "fluffy plushie" who has come of age!

From the TV anime "Made in Abyss," for which a sequel has been announced and a full-length movie version will be released this winter, the first new scale figure "Nanachi" will be released in July 2018 from the Toys Works brand.

Made in Abyss" is a manga serialized by Akihito Tsukushi on the web comic site "Comic Gamma" ( # ). It is a popular work that warmly depicts the adventures of Riko, a young girl who aspires to become a great "explorer" like her mother, in the Abyss, a huge cavern that is unknown to how far it extends, and Oath, a city built on the edge of the cavern. The staff of the TV anime version includes Masayuki Kojima (director: "Black Bullet"), Hideyuki Kurata (series composition: "DRIFTERS"), and character design: "Ghost in the Shell: ARISE ALTERNATIVE ARCHITECTURE" (general director and character design), and animation production is by Kinema Citrus. On November 26, 2017, after the broadcast, the production of the sequel was announced at the "Deep in Abyss Storytelling" event to discuss "Made in Abyss," and a theatrical compilation will be released this winter in March 2018.

This time, a new scale figure of "Made in Abyss" will be released in July 2018 from Toys Works brand of Chara-Ani Co.

The first "Made in Abyss" scale figure from the Toys Works brand is Nanachi, a self-proclaimed "fluffy plushie" and the "grown-up" that the main characters meet in the fourth layer.

The figure's long rabbit-like ears, fluffy fur covering her entire body, unique hat, pants, and other outfits, floating pose, and mischievous expression make for a 360-degree view of the figure.
The figure is based on a garage kit created by Akihito Tsukushi, the original author, and mamo, the prototype sculptor, and Toys Works is commercializing it as a complete painted figure.

The second figure in the series, "Riko," and the third, "Reg," are also in the works, so be sure to display them side by side.
