A soundtrack CD featuring BGM from the "Yamanosume" anime series will be released on June 29, 2018.

The first season of the series, which aired from January to March 2013, was a five-minute short anime series that gained popularity for its continuous storyline and heartwarming episodes, and the pilgrimage events held in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, where the series takes place, were a great success. The second season, which aired from July to December 2014, was scaled up to two 15-minute episodes. The content, which depicts not only the fun but also the harshness of mountain climbing, has been highly acclaimed not only by fans but also by mountain climbing enthusiasts.

A soundtrack CD will be released on June 29, 2018, featuring BGM from the first TV anime season "YAMANOSUME," the second season "YAMANOSUME Second Season," and the OVA "YAMANOSUME Omoide Present". The 3-CD set will include a total of 62 BGM tracks by Tom-H@ck and yamazo, who have created music for the "Yamanosume" series up to now.
