Sequel to "Princess Principal" to be produced! BD of the live event "Princess Principal STAGE OF MISSION" held on April 29 will also be released.

A completely new animated film from the TV anime "Princess Principal" will be produced and released in theaters in 2019.

Set in the fictional 19th century kingdom of Albion, which was divided into East and West by revolution, "Princess Principal," which aired on TV from July to September 2017, is an original anime that depicts the activities of five beautiful young female spies. The five girls use their status as high school girls attending the prestigious Queen's Mayfair School as a cover to carry out various missions in the capital city of London, which has become the front line of the "Shadow War" in which spies from many countries are engaged in dark deeds. Directed by Masanori Tachibana, series composition and script by Ichiro Okochi, original character design by Kohaku Kurosei, and music by Yuki Kajiura. Animation production will be handled by Studio 3Hz and Actus.

A completely new animated film, which will follow the TV series, will be produced in six chapters!　It will be released in theaters in 2019. In conjunction with the announcement of the production decision, a teaser visual has also been released.

In addition, the Blu-ray release date has been set for November 22, which will include the "Princess Principal STAGE OF MISSION," the first "Princess Principal" live event held at the Maihama Amphitheater today, April 29!　In addition, it has been revealed that a new "sequel preview PV" will be included as a video bonus.
