The "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin" frame stamp series will begin taking orders on May 15!

From "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin," "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin <Shia Seira Arc> Frame Stamp Set" will be available at post offices nationwide and post offices' online stores from May 15, 2018 (Tuesday).

Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin" is an anime work based on the manga of the same title by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, the character designer and animation director of the 1979 TV anime "Mobile Suit Gundam. The event screening of the "Char Seira Arc," which depicts the eve of the One Year War from the viewpoint of the popular character Char Aznable, began in February 2015. The "Char Seira Arc" was completed with "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin IV: Eve of Destiny," and at the end of 2016, it was decided to produce the "Lum" Arc, which depicts the first battle of the One Year War, in two episodes. The "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin" anime project will be completed with the release of the sixth episode "Birth of the Red Comet" in March 2018, and will finally begin screening on May 5.

It was announced that "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin <Shia Seira Arc> Frame Stamp Set" will be available from May 15, 2018 (Tue) at post offices and online stores of post offices nationwide.

The "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin <Shia Seira Arc> Frame Stamp Set" is the first frame stamp set featuring "Mobile Suit Gundam" and consists of the first four episodes of "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin (anime version)". The first set, "Shia Seira Arc," and the second set, "Lum Arc," will be released together, and a character fine board featuring an original illustration by Tsukasa Kotobuki will be included as a bonus.

A luxury "framed edition" (16,000 yen, including shipping and consumption tax) will also be available, which includes the character fine board in a special frame. This edition comes with a serial number plate and a "Certificate of Original Drawing" signed (printed) by Tsukasa Kotobuki, so be sure to check it out.
