Hizune and Masotan" Episode 4 Thoughts: New D-pies appear all at once, bringing new disturbances and foreshadowing

The fourth episode of "Hishine and Masotan" went by in a blink of an eye. After showing off the strong character of Hishine so far, the remaining three D-pies appeared all at once. As usual, there are many depictions of the male-dominated society in the military, but Shingo Maezawa, who is very much an enemy of D-Pai, seems to have a past. Also, Flight Commander Kakibo seems to know a lot of things, with many implied lines and facial expressions, giving the impression that he speaks quite a bit with his eyes.

Hishine tries to improve her empathy by reading a women's magazine "GomGom" in the bathroom. It was interesting to see Hizune trying to practice "I see, I see," "Yes, yes, yes, yes," and "So and so," which are written in the "Empathy Techniques Practice" section of the magazine, and the script was wonderful in interspersing these phrases. The script was excellent in interspersing the dialogue between Hishine and Kaizaki, aka "Sexy Jaguar," which is becoming more and more interesting with each episode.

The OTFs gathered at Gifu Air Base for joint training, and the flight scenes of the F-2A, E-2C, and C-1, from which they transformed into dragons, were well worth watching, both in terms of visuals and music.

The pilots who appeared were unique, and a review of their profiles on the official website shows the following. Eru Hoshino likes to act like an ace pilot, but her understanding of OTF is poor. Ririko Kinuban is a calm and intelligent person who can read the place and the air quickly and has good situational judgment. The rest are gaze-phobic. Mayumi Hitomi is a pilot who can understand the language of dragons, who originally worked at a zoo and was scouted to become a D-pie when she was favored by a fierce animal. The TAC name is Penguin, which she interpreted in a good way, but I thought it fit in the way that it was a flightless bird, and I thought that she was riding a dragon, no matter how you look at it. She was on a dragon, but her logic was broken when she was trying to think of it as a fighter plane, but I guess you could say that she was already pretty cornered when she pushed through with it.

So, at the first training session, Eru ignores orders to act alone ...... and the worst result is that the dragon unravels the foxtrot (fighter mode) on its own. Incidentally, please note that here too, the images and music are in perfect synchronization, and a serious air battle is taking place. It's like a movie.

What on earth was Kakibo's intention in putting her through such dangerous training, knowing her problems? And then there is Mayumi Hitomi snapping at Eru, who is also upset in the locker room, and to top it all off, the magician Hishine makes a cruel argument, "If you call the F-2A a clunker, then Mr. Hoshino himself is a clunker. The final scene was a brilliantly staged scene with Ririko Kinuban running off at a lethargic pace, interspersing laughter into a serious scene. At the end, the mysterious great man (Iiboshi), who also appears in the opening scene, makes a suggestive remark and says, "To be continued.

On the way, Commander Soda (and Iiboshi) said that OTF would surely sniff out "the only thing in common among the chosen girls," but what is this commonality? The film by director Higuchi is full of foreshadowing that makes you want to think about it. In the 5th episode, we will see if Hishine will continue to go her own way or face up to her "problem of speaking her mind". Personally, I hope he goes with the former as I have no problem with it. ...... Such is episode 4 that I can't wait for a week. It was interesting again this time!
