The official voting project " 2018 Spring Anime Leading Voice Actor Popularity Poll [Male], " which was held at Akiba Research Institute from April 24 (Tue) to May 9 (Wed), has ended. What was the result of the total of 19509 votes cast? Let's check it out right away.

No. 5 Chikahiro Kobayashi (Golden Kamui: as Saichi Sugimoto) 898 votes

No.9 Mamoru Miyano (STEINS;GATE 0: Playing the role of Rintaro Okabe etc.) 541 votes
No. 10 ISHIKAWA Kaito (Magical Girl Me: as Magical Girl Ore, etc.) 489 votes
Approximately 19,510 votes were cast in this year's poll. The first place was won by Tatsuo Suzuki, who plays Takoma Jinguji in "Butlers ~Millennium Hyakunen Monogatari~" and Atsuhiro Sho in "Akkun to Kanojo". Although there was a brief moment toward the end of the day when he moved into second place, Mr. Suzuki barely held on to the top spot.
Moving up to second place was Yoshimasa Hosoya, who passionately plays the role of Joe/Junk Dog in "Megalobox," a martial arts manga about fighting wearing a reinforced exoskeleton. He was in third place at the time of the last announcement, but eventually closed the gap to 17 votes from first place. Although he was only in second place in terms of ranking, he was replaced in first place just before the close of voting, indicating his popularity.
The one who regrettably fell to third place from the last announcement was Yuichi Nakamura, who plays the role of Mitsuyoshi Tada in the coming-of-age romantic comedy "Tada-kun wa Koi wo Nai" (Tada-kun Won't Fall in Love). He had been in second place since the beginning of the show, but was forced to reverse his position at the end of the show. However, he was the only one to receive more than 2,000 votes, except for the top-ranked contestants, and he received a lot of support.
The fourth place and below are also almost the same as the last time they were announced, but among them, the fifth place finisher, Chikahiro Kobayashi, is a face we have not seen in past rankings. Mr. Kobayashi plays the role of Saichi Sugimoto in "Golden Kamuy," and his performance has been highly praised on the Internet. The film also features many veterans, including Mr. Hochu Otsuka and Mr. Akio Otsuka, as well as Mr. Joji Nakata and Mr. Toshihiko Seki. The fact that he has a strong presence among them is probably due to the fact that he has solid acting skills.
As the spring 2018 anime season is about to reach its turning point, watch out for their passionate performances as they enter their final spurt toward the climax!
