The "NEOGEO" is a platform for arcade and home video game consoles released by SNK in 1990.
The company developed a unique system that allowed users to freely exchange games by converting the arcade game console software from conventional circuit boards to ROM cassettes. The NEOGEO arcade game machines were installed in game arcades, supermarkets, candy stores, and other locations throughout Japan, thanks to their ability to incorporate multiple game titles in a single machine and their low price tag.
The NEOGEO home video game console shares the same software as the ROM cassette of the arcade game console. The "NEOGEO" boasted a large capacity of over 100 megabytes, and was undoubtedly the dream of game fans at the time.

Now comes the exciting news of the "NEOGEO mini.
The "NEOGEO mini" is the latest addition to the NEOGEO lineup, which boasts a diverse lineup of games from the "NEOGEO" game platform that was created in 1990.

The "NEOGEO mini" has a 3.5-inch LCD display on the console itself, allowing users to enjoy their favorite games without the need to connect it to a TV monitor!
It is compact enough to fit in the palm of your hand, and is available in two exterior designs: a Japanese version (sold in Japan and other Asian regions) and an overseas version (sold in North America, Europe, and other regions).
The Japanese version is designed with a blue, white, and red color scheme based on the NEOGEO arcade cabinet that appeared in the 1990s. The international version has a simple, modern design based on black, white, and blue.
