Masked Rider Build" (TV Asahi, every Sunday from 9:00 a.m.), the 19th film in the Heisei Masked Rider series, is currently the talk of the town with its unexpected storyline featuring the transformation of Sennasagi Kiryu (Takahiro Inukai), a genius physicist with the highest IQ in the series history.
The latest film version, the first stand-alone movie, will be released in theaters nationwide on August 4 (Sat).

The guests will play the unique roles of the governors of the three cities, East, West, and North, who are actually former astronauts.

Masanobu Katsumura, who has appeared in numerous stage and film productions as an actor, most recently in the TV drama "Doctor X," will play the role of Kengo Ino, the governor of the eastern capital. Katsumura is a noted playwright who has played a wide range of roles, from businessman, doctor, lawyer, detective, and newspaper reporter to orchestral player, ex-tekiya (a former banker), and analyst, and now takes on the unprecedented role of a former astronaut and governor of Tokyo. Ino Kengo plays an important role as a key person in the story. It will be interesting to see how he will relate to the Masked Rider Builder Kiryu Senzabu, who is based in the eastern capital.

Mitsuomi Gohara, the governor of the western capital, is played by Takashi Fujii, a multi-talented actor in a wide range of genres, including participation in the Kohaku Uta Gassen as a singer as well as a comedian who supports Yoshimoto Shinki Gekijo. In recent years, Mr. Fujii has also established a reputation for his acting as a stage actor, and in his private life he is a father of one child. The character of Gohara Mitsuomi, who plays the role in this film, is a perfect fit for Fujii, as the western capital is a city that includes the Kansai region in modern Japan, and Fujii is from Osaka Prefecture, so the setting was hastily changed to a character that speaks in a Kansai dialect. And the role of Ryoka Saiga, the governor of the northern capital, is played by Reina Matsui, who has been developing her talent as an actress in recent years by playing various types of roles; in 2016 and 2017, she starred in the stage play "Shin Bakumatsu Junjo Den" for two consecutive years, and her physical acting was a big hit. She has joined the ranks of acting actresses with her excellent performance as a railroad geek in the Tsuki 9 drama "Umizuki Hime" broadcast this year. I think the appeal of Masked Rider is that small children and their parents who are watching with them can all cheer together. This may be my first time to act in a tokusatsu scene with a transformed Masked Rider, so I hope I can enjoy myself by giving everything I can in this work right now.

The three of you will play the roles of a former astronaut and the governor of the three capitals, who is so intelligent that he surpasses even the genius physicist Kiryu Senzabu.
