FromSoftware will release the action RPG "Dark Souls Remastered" for PS4/Xbox One/Windows on Thursday, May 24.

The Switch version will be released in summer 2018.

Based on the action RPG "DARK SOULS" released in 2011, "DARK SOULS REMASTERED" retains the dark fantasy worldview and overwhelming sense of accomplishment highly acclaimed by players around the world, while optimizing graphics and expanding online multiplayer features. The remastered version of the game features optimized graphics and expanded online multiplayer functionality.

The game's optimized graphics for the latest hardware allow players to enjoy the joy of discovery, exploration, and gripping combat in 1080p resolution at 60fps for PS4 and Xbox One, and 1080p resolution at 30fps for Nintendo Switch in TV mode (table and handheld modes). 30 fps (table mode and portable mode: 720p/frame rate 30 fps). In addition, PC/PS4 Pro/Xbox One X with 4K output support can be connected to a 4K-compatible TV or display to play with higher resolution, with the PC version supporting native 4K display and the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X supporting 4K equivalent display in upscale. .

Online multiplayer has been increased from a maximum of four to six players, and a "password matching" feature has been implemented to make it easier to be matched with acquaintances. This allows players to enjoy a more diverse multiplayer experience.

Furthermore, "ARTORIAS OF THE ABYSS," which was distributed as additional DLC in the original version, is included from the beginning, allowing players to enjoy to their heart's content an adventure set in the past world of Woolasir that further expands the story of the main game.
