Ultraman Festival 2018, an event bringing together the tokusatsu work Ultraman series, will be held at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro starting July 20 (Friday).

Since "Ultraman" was first broadcast in July 1966, the "Ultraman Series" has continued to introduce heroes to the world for over 50 years. The summer vacation event "Ultraman Festival 2018" will be held from July 20 (Fri.) to August 27 (Mon.), bringing all these works together.

The summer vacation event "Ultraman Festival 2018" will be held for the 28th time in Tokyo this year, attracting more than 4.7 million visitors in total. The festival will be held from July 20 (Friday) to August 27 (Monday) at the Sunshine City Cultural Hall in Ikebukuro.
On May 12 (Sat), the day advance tickets went on sale, an announcement event was held at the Sunshine City Fountain Plaza, and Bakusho Mondai (Hikaru Ota and Yuji Tanaka) was appointed as an official supporter. The six Ultraman brothers and monsters also appeared and introduced the highlights of "Ultraman Festival 2018.

The two Bakusho Mondai were born in 1965 and are genuine Ultraman fans, having grown up watching the Ultraman series. Mr. Tanaka enjoys making dioramas with his children at home using soft vinyl dolls and playing Ultraman with them. Mr. Ota, who likes strong monsters such as the Red King and Zetton, played the role of the monster and demonstrated an example of "playing Ultraman.
