The 57th Shizuoka Hobby Show is being held at Twinmesse Shizuoka in Shizuoka Prefecture from May 11 to 13, 2018.

This event is one of the largest model hobby events in Japan, held annually in Shizuoka Prefecture, where many model manufacturers gather. This year, a total of 84 companies plus 3 organizations will exhibit. The event is expected to be even more lively than in previous years.

Many of you may be thinking of visiting the show this weekend, as the 12th and 13th are the long-awaited open days for the public.

Akiba Research Institute, which covered the event ahead of the others, will provide a photo report focusing on the new exhibits.

In this third installment, we will introduce you to Kotobukiya, which offers many unique items, Takara Tomy, which has high expectations for its new Zoids lineup, and Studio Yuwa, which offers a lineup that is sure to satisfy your every itch!
