Midnight! Tensai Bakabon", the first PV and main visual are released! Long-awaited character voices also revealed!

The TV anime broadcast is scheduled to begin in July 2018! Tensai Bakabon", which will start airing in July 2018, the first PV with character voices and the main visual have been released.

Tensai Bakabon" is a home comedy centering on the Bakabon family, one of Fujio Akatsuka's most famous works, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Fujio Akatsuka's death, and the fifth TV anime adaptation has been decided after 18 years since the last one! The series will be adapted as "Late Night! Tensai Bakabon" and will be broadcast from July 2018.

The film will be directed and scripted by the writer/director of the film "Paikaji Nankai Sakusen" (2012) and the film "Oke-Meijin! (2016) and the series composition of the TV anime "Shirokuma Cafe". The deputy director is Tenshi Yamamoto, who has storyboarded and directed "Frame Arms Girl" and "Tsurezure Children. Production will be handled by studio Piero+.

The first PV of "Midnight! Tensai Bakabon" has been released, and the character voices have been unveiled.
The characters and backgrounds are drawn in colorful pop tones, with a humorous and somewhat endearing finish. In the video, Bakabon (CV: Miyu Irino) says, "Good children must not watch!

The modern and outlandish main visual, like the PV, is filled with a sense of "anything can happen. Against a background of a reddish sky and cityscape, the main visual depicts Uncle Lelele summoned from Papa's mouth in the center, a bat with Papa's face, a dragon with an eel dog's face, and other unique characters such as Bakabon, Honkan, and Mama and Hajime standing with smiles on their faces.



The show takes place in the present day, with a splendid cast and crew, and presents "Late Night! Tensai Bakabon," which takes place in the present day and is presented "late at night" by a splendid cast and crew.
