Teikyu" is a TV animation based on a manga series in "Comic Earth Star" by Roots (original story) and Piyo (artwork). It is a "fast-talking, super-fast gag anime" that depicts the heart-pounding daily lives of the unique characters in the Kameido High School tennis club, and has attracted attention for its high tension and chaotic content. The original work has already been completed, with a total of 15 volumes of comics. The ninth season of the anime aired in July 2017.
