Mai Fuchigami, who has been active as a voice actress in many works, recently made her long-awaited solo debut with her first album "Fly High Myway! The first live performance of "Mai Fuchigami 1st LIVE "Fly High Myway!"" was held at Daikanyama UNIT in Tokyo on April 21 (Sat), 2018.

The live house was packed to the rear entrance to witness the moment of her first solo live performance. The memorable live performance opened amidst the excitement and anticipation.

Dressed in brightly contrasting blue and pink, her theme colors, she performed songs mainly from her first album. Fly High Myway!", the cool performance of "A Crow", the cute poses and gestures of the girly "Cute♡Appeal", and the various expressions of Mai Fuchigami that were different from those of her character songs on ....... She entertained everyone with her various expressions and singing styles as Mai Fuchigami.

In "Flamingo Disco," she charmed the audience with a dance reminiscent of Juliana, holding a fan decorated with feathers, which was a live item. She smiled and said, "You can come to the next show with your own decorations, too. The audience joined in the screams during "Tropical Girl," making the venue feel like an everlasting summer heat.

She also showed her acting ability in "Lala Lala: Kimi e Ezuru Uta," in which she gently echoed her heartfelt voice, immersing the audience in the scene. She wrote half of the lyrics for the songs on the album herself, and it was impressive to see her sing each word with such care.

On the other hand, during the MC, Fuchigami smiled as usual, saying, "It's Mai Fuchigami! She talked about her struggles in making her debut as an artist and thanked the audience for coming to hear her sing, not about her characters or works, but purely to listen to "Mai Fuchigami" songs. After chewing on the "happiness" of her first solo live performance, she expressed her enthusiasm with a smile, saying that she would like to do it again and was happy to do it again.

Covering Important Songs

In addition to songs from her album, she also performed cover songs at this live. First, she performed "Falco" (OP theme of TV anime "Ueki no Houhou"), a song that paved the way for her to become a voice actress, and "Enter Enter Enter MISSION! (ED theme of the anime "Girls und Panzer").
