Rockstar Games has released the latest information on "Red Dead Redemption 2" for PS4/Xbox One, scheduled for release on October 26 (Friday), including the story, protagonist, and system.

Red Dead Redemption 2" is the sequel to the open-world action adventure "Red Dead Redemption" set in frontier America.

The latest information on the game's story, characters, and systems has been released, and we would like to introduce them to you.

■Story

The year is 1899 in the United States. The pioneer era is over, and law enforcement officers have begun to clean out the gangs of outlaws. Those who refused to surrender or give in were having their lives taken one by one.
After a major robbery gone wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and his Dutch gang were forced to flee. Pursued by federal agents and bounty hunters from across the country, the gang's only way to survive is to rob, violate, and steal in the wilds of America. The more involved in the conflict, the more the gang is in danger of being torn apart. Arthur is forced to choose between his ideals and his loyalty to the gang that raised him.

Main Character "Arthur Morgan

Arthur Morgan, the protagonist of this film, is an old and core member of the Dutch gang. Having been welcomed into the Dutch gang when he was still young, the gang is like family to Arthur. In many ways, the gang is the light of Arthur's life, and he is deeply loyal to it.

The "Dutch Gang," wandering outlaws

The player becomes one of a gang of misfits and enjoys all the freedoms of daily life as well as the freedom to rob banks, jack trains, hunt, fight, and more with his friends.

The Dutch gang needs money, food, and supplies to maintain their camp, which is the center of their day-to-day lives. Each gang member has a hand in maintaining the camp, and players can also support the camp by hunting and bringing back food and other supplies. Assistance to the camp is not mandatory, but players can receive rewards for actively helping.

■Evolved Interaction

New to this work is the introduction of a new interaction layer throughout the world. For example, when Arthur sees a passing carriage, he can "stop the carriage," "distract the driver," "get a ride to the nearest town," or "rob the carriage," among other actions. The content of conversations also changes depending on the situation, making for a more interactive experience.
